2015 Skate Canada Mens Free Skate

"Oh, Chanada!" Such an incredible comeback....what a great final group that was!

This is going to be a great season!

So base value gap between Chan and Hanyu is 16 points yet, Chan wins.
Also I wish I could understand what Chan was interpreting and performing that deserved 10 across the board. Can't argue with the rest.

Yeah that was kind of questionable. Giving any sort of 3T a +2 is kind of meh for me. But at least it didn't seem like a pop.

What does it being a 3T have anything to do with the GOE it deserves?

Lol@ Patrick being behind Yuzuru in BV by 13.58 points... but winning the LP by 4.04 points.

And some people feared PChan would be underscored compared to Hanyu :laugh2:

I guess Patrick should dress up like he just came from LuluLemon every competition now if he's gonna skate like that.

To be honest, I want to give silver to Dice, rahter than Yuzuru, even though Yuzuru is my hometown favotite.
Yuzuru seems very tired during his steps:slink:

On the other hand, I am happy that Yuzuru left much room to improve in this competition.

And so happy with Patrick's great come back:yahoo:

I would argue that Daisuke also lost a lot of steam at the end of his program.

Before people get mad, he didn't lose any heart while skating, just energy. Even Tracy Wilson commented on it.

I still think he deserved higher for that performance though.

So great!!!!:love::love: Happy for Nam, happy for dice. Yuzu was amazing und finally Patrick is back :yahoo: A Yuna-comeback (almost)!!!!

Every single one of Patrick's elements was QUALITY. Shockingly, in all honesty. Yuzu had a much higher BV, but many of his jumps were shakier.

Do people here not know what flawless jumps look like?

That said, kudos to all the Yuzu fans who see how wonderful Patrick's skate was. As I said above, I usually don't prefer one over the other and tend to root for underdogs. (Denis is my faaaaaaaaave). People who are being bitter and biased because your fave was outskated :disapp:

Well Chan's skating skills were better. Hanyu had almost no choreography, his jumps were labored, and was a little slow across the ice. I think it was scored fairly. Not to mention the obvious singled triple toe and the fall on the lutz.

I really don't agree with Adam placing above Nam here...

Nam is still rather juniorish, despite his consistent jumping ability. Adam rightly should score higher than Nam on PCS. Nam still needs to mature and develop a more unique presence on the ice. Even Nathan Chen has better presentation skills and musicality than Nam.
