I mentioned this earlier but I give Yulia a pass on the gloves because she always wears gloves and it's done more for protection than a fashion statement - and I hate the "flesh" colored ones, they are never the right color and it looks weird. I think if she got rid of the belt and bracelets it would look better, or keep the belt and the dress be all 1 color.

Ladies who surprised me a lot.
1. Ashley Wagner. SP dress (and the whole look). WOW :love:. I usually don’t’like her too much of make up, sparkles, and showing-off her body. But that little black dress was perfect. And the back!:clap:

2. Zhenya Medvedeva. SP and LP dresses. Just compare her SP and LP look at Ondrej Nepela Trophy and Skate America. The difference is just astonishing, Cinderella is enjoying the ball.:o:

Ladies who I expected to look great. And they did.
1. Gracie Gold. SP dress. Perfect for tango – simple, black, sexy (not vulgar), with sophisticated back. And that red skirt lining… And the whole look – hair style, make up. Loved it. :drama:

2. Li Zijun. SP dress. I usually love her dresses and this one was not an exception. Rich colour, nice cut. Really eye-catching. Ladies with outfits that didn’t work for me while being static, but on the ice looked great.
1. Rika Hongo. LP dress (CoC). At first it seemed too black and shiny for riverdance (sorry :rolleye:). That bright green skirt lining just made the whole kook for me: jumps looked more powerful, steps – more joyful. http://kyodonews.net/resources/20151107KW___0032500010.PH.-.-.N.CI0004.jpg
Rika really sold the programme and the outfit. I’m taking it!

3. Liza Tuktamisheva. LP dress. Oh, yeas, too long sheer skirt, mostly black :hslap:. What I see on the ice: long skirt suits to the opera part and surprisingly doesn’t seem so sheer and long in motion. Upper part I like in both variants (black and black-red), gloves emphasize hand movements. So I think it really works for Liza’s feminine body. http://i.imgur.com/5GZZeeU.jpg

James/Cipres TEB - you can always count on the french to have memorable & cool ones!
Jason Brown LP - surprisingly I loved his black sparkly outfit v/much. It seems to fit his music so much imo.

I agree. I am not a fan of Rika but this dress is WOW. Whoever designed it is a genius. One thing is to dress Kiira or Gracie - they would look stunning in potato sacks, but Rika has a few problems all of which artfully solved by this masterpiece. I like the cut, the colour, the fabric, everything. A low neckline makes her neck look longer and distracts attention from her poor posture especially with pony tail (not a bun like in the sp). Amazing what a difference it made to Rika's lines.
Liza should ask Rika for a name of her designer! That dress at TEB was :confused:

I don't think anyone has mentioned So Youn Park's 2013-2014 FS dress yet, so I'll put it here. People had mixed feelings about this dress, but I loved it.

People also mentioned Yuna's KOTV, Akiko's O, and many other dresses that I love as well. Almost all of Mao, Kiira and Yulia's dresses are also gorgeous! :love:

As for this season, I like both of Evgenia Medvedeva's dresses. Polina's Moonlight Sonata dress is also spectacular.
