I think that costume as he said is an incomplete version of the costume he is wearing now? Can someone confirm? So perhaps we will never see that one again??

Can someone translate what he said here? His laugh is so funny and foxlike
Now, it's not clear how he ends the sentence, but he MIGHT be making fun of Mura's Costume
....I've watched it over and over again and I can't decipher how he ends the sentence. But it starts off "Mata Kusomazui mono wo..." and then I can't hear the rest, except the giggle. It means "Again, this godawful..."
Mura and Yuzu are pretty close though, and they probably tease each other a lot behind the scenes. Anyone else know how Yuzu ended the sentence?

Yuzuru said, 'IYAA MATA KUSOMAZUIMONO WO NONDERUKARAA.' I'm not sure that he is pointing out his drink bottle or not, but he said,' Oh well, I am/have been drinking hella awful stuff again.' with a slight Sendai/Miyagi accent, hehe. I do hope Yuzu's energy drink is not bad taste !!

Thanks for the translation!! So does that mean he doesn't really know what he's going to drink beforehand before really drinking it? Lols!
I agree too, and I don't necessarily think it's unpopular for the FS costume.
Now the SP costume on the other hand, I liked last season's version better.
Note: these Dutch commentators really are very "casual" about it all. We have a saying here, "Behave normally, then you already behave crazy enough", which just really comes to mind when I listen to these people. I'll take the British enthusiasm over these two, any day.
These Dutch commentators might be time travellers from 2018. They have seen what Yuzu did in Olympics 2018. So this 2015 world record-breaking performances are just big 'yawns' to them. They would say, "We've seen better from Yuzu. Now where are my tulips/windmill/clogs!"

Not possible...I guess the original costume was an 'unfinished one' and I've heard he personally requested changes to it. So NO--it's in the grave now. *sniff* *sniff*

That's right, that was a version made for its first ice show appearance. And yes,:sad21: we probably might not see it EVER again.
I will never forget this one since it is beautiful in its own way. It shows Yuzuru's asset which is his body line and *cough* HIPS. Sometimes I even imagine this costume with its current 'bling blings' at the recent NHK. How would Yuzu look in it doing this :gaah: But I guess I'll have to settle with imagination...*sigh*Thank you for remind us that costume! I liked more than this one! Yep the old one is simple but it has its own beauty. The new one...eventually GREW on me.Unpopular opinion: I actually prefer his new costume over the old one

I actually like both!! Tbh, I might like the current one a bit more coz it's in my favorite of blue!!! hahas!!!
I think you are right. I remember seeing a gif of him taking a sip of his drink (we've seen him mix the thing from powder during one of those backstage warmup clips) , and he made an awful expression after drinking it...I remember laughing about it.
So unfortunately it probably tastes awful but good for stamina?

The subject person is vague, and in that case, I think it was, "It's because I am (or, you are) drinking hella awful stuff again."
But, we never know what they were talking about before the scene, and who is actually drinking such awful stuff.
KUSOMAZUI is a strong expression (taste like damned something :shock2
, but, I confess I love his a bit wild or rough way of talks betraying his gentle appearance EDIT: It seems Yuzuru is the person who is drinking the KUSOMAZUI drink

I'm still ecstatic with everything Yuzuru did .. it was a weekend gloriuoso week, not only the score and the records, but the beauty of what was presented by Yuzuru.
I think it will be difficult to repeat someone's done.
I read everything that was written here without comment because it was so frantic that it was difficult to follow ..
I want to thank you for all the information posted here, you guys are great and help those who are very far away and like YUzur
In addition to all here are fun-packed ..
Good week for us, 'cause will be frenetic.
We will need several calming and many inhalers layout .. laughter.
For me I will continue hoping Yuzuru us a gift with "Believe" again.

He looks as delicate as a flower yet is as strong and fierce as the sun.On another matter, Johnny Weir ranks Yuzur's NHK performance among his all-time favorites (no surprise there). It's an interesting list. For instance, the Michelle Kwan performance Johnny cited, like Yuzuru's, also reportedly left at least one judge in tears. Great skates can do that.
At FSU's "From Russia with Love" thread, zebraswan posted a link to the transcript of a radio interview with Igor Bobrin and Natalia Bestemianova. This was after Yuzuru's record performance at NHK. I hope someone who knows Russian (Nagini?) can give us an accurate translation of the part pertaining to Yuzuru. From the rough Google translation, they appeared complimentary of Yuzuru, whose iconic R & J choreography they had helped choreograph.
