After a SP with 110,95 Yuzu said:I wasn't be able to get level 4 for step sequence and I have to practice more....I need to practice more!!! Did I hear well? :eeking:
That is Yuzu....a very ambitious skater, a hardworking and nice boy , that is the reason people love him so much all over the world. :luv17:
Go Yuzu !!!
Saturday you will be the first man who win GPF 3 times consecutively.

isn't there a one day break before mens FP ?

Yes, thank goodness the men's FS is Saturday night. Tomorrow is men's junior FS, but not senior.
We all need a day to recover.

Some Japanese ladies in front of us (that would be row 1, lol, directly behind the VIP boxes) said, see you on Saturday! Like, we are just here for Yuzu, not going to tomorrow's events?! ;-)

Yes, it's 'till saturday
I'm working on translating the Spanish commentators on his SP (they were freaking out as well, how could they not?). but in a hard sub video, I guess i'll have it in an hour or so and I'll post the link ;)

OMG, I can't believe it. 110 points. I was actually there, I saw it with my own eyes... and I still can't believe it.

There are no words to explain how awesome it was...

I'm repeating myself, but... :hap93::party:

I'm so happy he kept this program. It would have been so sad not to see this piece of art clean:noshake:

The thing I like most about his reaction, aside from wanting to practice more haha, is that he only had a quick celebration after he heard his score. He had a quick little flail and then calmed down and was trying to get the crowd to calm down as well - all for Javi's benefit. I shouldn't be so amazed because he's always been thoughtful of others, but I think I'm most proud of what a true sportsman Yuzuru is.

My face is literally this right now -> :luv17:

The most clear quote from Yuzu was also the quote of the day for me.

"You Can Do It" to Javi as he took the ice.

I am still more than half asleep and I haven't catched up with the thread yet but I'm already internally rejoicing after reading some of the posts and the tweets. omg he is unreal. *looks for links with shaking hands*

I'm back at my hotel room after this crazy evening. I don't know what to say just now, and typing on a phone is unpractical but guys....it was WONDERFUL [emoji7] . Just to good to be real. Yuzuru was just incredible on all details. The jumps were really out of the world (now I understand the uncles from besp), the flow to die for, the edges was stunning...I can't believe I saw it.
And we had a bit of Yuzuvier, which is always a pleasure [emoji1]
I promise I will give a more detailed report later but now time to sleep^^

Guys, I saw that live and it was amazing. I used to complain that the original choreo was better but I would have never thought it was supposed to be any other way today, there were so many details I loved. The tension when Yuzu skated was palpable, as if everybody was holding their breath, and ehen he finished, the audience reaction was unbelieveable. There was the final note and then suddenly everybody just jumped. It wasn't the type of standing ovation when people start clapping, then nodding and then getting up in approval, it was the goal-in-the-90th-minute type of wild standing ovation where everebody (well, at least everybody around me) just jumped with joy with their hands above their head, clapping. Awesome moment. :points:

All in all, I'm really glad so many of you guys had a great time and saw him break his own WR! Heres to another 2-3 days worth of excitement and fun for you guys :peace:

lol, one of b esp guys was so hard on judges "if he doesn't get +3 on this elements, judges need glasses" :rofl2:

The b esp guy was total fanboy. "Greatest skater ever, Olympic champion, former world champion, etc. etc. etc."
