Congratulations to Yuzu! I just watched his amazing SP. I am in awe of what this young man is capable of. I have to agree with Plushy
when he describes Yuzu's skating as "Genius", it certainly is. Good luck in the FS!

I'm happy for Yuzuru slaying the ice field and all, but PLEASE DON'T PEAK AT GPF. I NEED (or my wallet needs) him to decisively win Worlds 2016.

No offense but why people keep saying and hoping Yuzu doesn't peak at GP or at GPF? we don't know that if he doesn't peak at GP/GPF then he WILL peak at Worlds, maybe he will do worse (I hope not).
It's just bothering me a little, why can we appreciate for what he already achieved even if it's ONLY in GP/GPF and praying that he will do the same good performance or better at Worlds..

I am both excited and worried for his FS on Saturday. Hopefully skating after Javi (especially if he knocks it out of the ball park) won't spook him out of his zone!

CONGRATS YUZU FOR HIS WONDERFUL SHORT PROGRAM YET AGAIN!!!!! HE BROKE ANOTHER WORLD RECORD HE HIMSELF HAS SET LIKE JUST TWO WEEKS AGO!!! HOW MIND BOGGLING!!!!

I'm late for the celebration coz' today i had tonnes of gatherings to go to.... AND THE PAGE HAS GONE 15 PAGES OMG!!!

WISH HIM ALL THE BEST FOR HIS FREE SKATE !!!

well, one comment on Skating lesson fb made my day , someone said that this performance wouldn't even made top10 at Worlds if Hanyu wouldn't be japanese :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :laugh2:
Some people in this world are amazing for me
Some people just hate others succeed, it's not just being irritated, they absolutely hate to see it.

Bc it's hard to maintain that kind of physical condition required to accomplish extraordinary skates. A person only has so much physical capacity to spend during a season, and peaking in the early part of the season will drain that capacity.

I think he's the person who's living _now_, he can't know what will be tomorrow and if he can break the record now, he must do it now. He always do his best, that he is, no matter which competition, this time it especially feels like he is over the competition, like he just makes it for people and explores himself.

Does anyone know if NBC will broadcast/has broadcasted Yuzu's SP, and has anyone found the B.ESP version in HD? 'Cause I've only found it in 360

LOL i thought i was selfish for thinking that too but I just got my credit card bill and I hope in the most positive way that Yuzuru makes for the experience :)

NBC is doing a 1 week delayed broadcast of the GPF. Hoping that they will show his SP like they did for NHK.
The other US commentary that is currently up is the one from Universal Sports with Ryan Bradley.

Great competition only seems to fire Yuzu up even more. Remember he said he doesn't like to win when others have bad performances.
Hoping for all the men to have amazing free skates, motivating each other to show their best. I fully believe that Yuzu, not to mention we fans would enjoy this outcome most.

The one who is Yuzu's fanboy (his name is Marek Szewczyk) was not commenting , but the other one and the lady commentator were also gushing over Yuzuru :)

Oh well, I wondered what the Polish uncle would say after Yuzu's SP. His fanboying is on a different level.
