Why the hell is Mao's TES so low. Did they dock her on a mysterious 3Lo UR again? All her jumps that she did complete looked good. The 3Lo was definitely rotated so I'm not really sure. Also, I wish Mao had just changed the 3Lz into a 3T if she was gonna pop. It looked like she almost planned the pop.

The second half of the straightline footwork is pure delight.

This is exactly the problem I have with Mao's short. The music REQUIRES you to be into the performance, and she really can't be if she's concentrating on the jumps the way she needs to. I love the Madame Butterfly routine, because it allows her to focus when she needs to. Whenever I watch Mao get into the SP, I worry that she's going to blow a jump. And she did...

I really like the music during the step sequence but can't help but feel like she's a bit too slow, it's as if the music gets partially wasted.

Well, I'm willing to bet that she'll lead after this. New PB I'd say as well.
