Simon's starting to make a habit of making big calls.

After saying that Yuzu is the greatest male skater of all time yesterday, today he reckons Zhenya will be the greatest female skater of all time.

She should easily take the lead. But, I haven't agreed with the positions the judges have put the last few skaters in (the 2 Japanese should be above Elena), so who knows what will happen?!

Well, for Hanyu it's objectively accurate. Medvedeva though is a bit of a stretch at this point. She does have the potential to be the best ever, though.

My predictions:
Ashley steps out on her flip and will have bad combo or just less BV (possible UR); Satoko will go clean with no URs but won't be higher than third; Gracie will succumb to pressure and makes multple mistakes (although not a disaster); Elena will be clean, Zhenya will be clean and go to the lead, Mao messes up all her jumps (not entirely, having good landing but URs and some bad landing) but won't be behind podium.

And now I regret I didn't submit my predictions.

Pop on the flip again! Why?

Whoever is choreographing for Gracie needs to do something about WHERE the jumps are taking off. All three of her passes brought her way too close to the board, and there has to be some wiggle room. It's been EVERY YEAR with Gracie. If she's holding the takeoff too long, then fix the pass!

I never know whether to watch or hide under the covers when Gracie skates. I love her but man, that was a costly pop. Especially when you consider that had she skated well, her score would likely have been gigantic, given what we've seen so far.
