It's not that simple...
Just because Yagudin had big jumps, it doesn't mean
everyone must be shaped like Yagudin to have big jumps.
Power-to-weight ratio is a more important measure than specific body shape or size for jump height: A light body has less muscle, but then - being lighter, it doesn't
need as much muscle to lift it. And a slim buld definitely helps with rotation speed.
Athletic high-jumpers are not heavily built, yet they can do huge jumps.
Gymnasts too. They are lean and wiry, not heavily built... and they can do huge jumps too.
A candidate for a quint jump would probably look
like Bruce Lee :-D
Usain Bolt was once considered "too tall" by commentators and experts, to be a top sprinter.
He had the "wrong" body shape... Until he proved everybody wrong...!
