I think it all depends on Kanako at this point. Even if she beats Mao, they might still send Mao because of a stronger GP season. Wakaba will be sent to junior worlds.

Mao did some of the most beautiful jumps I have seen her do in warmup. Her triple axel was gorgeous and really big.

Could not get the legs in a good position for a smooth combo, a little trip and loss of balance, but she pulled the loop with no speed!
