Hey Tom and Delilah... how about adding a pairs SBS round to this years Broadmoor Open Jump contest. Might be away for the teams with good ones to show off and get noticed and give some good old fashioned competitiveness to everyone.

This year Tom Z et al. did hold a pairs jump competition -- with a cash prize, IIRC -- at the annual pairs camp in Colorado Springs right after Champs Camp.

But I don't know whether the jump comp included SBS jumps.
And I don't know how many pairs are invited to the pairs camp. But the top ones were there: Alexa/Chris, Marissa/Mervin, Gretchen/Nate ...

IIRC, Tarah/Danny won the jump comp.

Scimeca/Knierim~ Power, speed, and attitude as expected. But another fall on SBS jumps! I am beginning to suspect St. Paul has ice gremlins.

I agree with Coughlin that the death spiral at the beginning was special, and also that the quad twist should be allowed in the short program. Only lvl 2 on the triple twist as it is.

Thanks for adding this. I am glad Pairs got something. But i still would like them to get added in some context to the other event as a way to give American pairs some much needed love, attention, and respect. I think it could be good for the discipline to include them at something like this.

I'm no familiar with this couple at all, so hopefully a video will be posted It would be great to see them get an assignment next year if they also do well in the LP
