As for Elena and her not being amused. It's understandable I mean the message was clear if she and Evgenia both skate their best Elena won't win. It's not pretty. Even if you do the best you won't be on top. At this level this is a bitter pill to have to take

This is tiresome. I find Rad and Med juvenile and not sophisticated. Am I a hater too? People have differing views.

IMO tiresome is tearing down skaters who had an awesome skate just because your favorite at the competition didn't get the gold medal, and claiming that it is unfair and wrong that a skater placed ahead of your favorite skater even though, if you have even a basic grasp of COP, it is obvious why they did place ahead. Now, generally and consistently arguing that certain parts of COP should be revamped or talking about skaters weaknesses does not make you a hater, no. But essentially whining because your favorite is second not first even though it is in fact clear why that is and claiming for the first time to dislike some aspect of COP because in this case it went against your favorite skater IMO does make you a hater, yes... and I think objectively, regardless of my specific definitions, there has been a lot of unjustified hate on this thread. YMMV.
