I might not agree with Gracie's score by like 1-2 points.... but

GIRLS WERE ON FIRE!

I mean it is one of the best SP competitions I have seen in a while. Men, take notice!

Well, Anna's SB just put to rest that only the 2 Americans received SB's. Good skate from her, still not a fan though.

Anna deserves the score she got. Her jumps are huge and clean, and her steps are exquisite. Period. I am happy that judges were not blind here.

I realize it's only 3PM here in Cal. But, I need a drink after all this great skating. This afternoon may have been the best Ladies SP in History. I've never seen this many good programs back to back like this. All the champions stood up and represented their Countries in FINE Fashion. I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, I need a drink........

#Bless. Who would've guess? I'm going to have heart attacks over the free skate because the top 2 skaters are frankly so hot and cold. Satoko might somehow be the one that ends up on the podium.

There has not been a short program ladies competition of this calibre since 2014 worlds... WOW! Anna, I did not expect that AT ALL CONGRATULATIONS! Ashley Wagner blew the house down, Gracie Gold Tango'd into the lead, And Mirai Nagasu proved that she is WORTHY OF BEING AT THE WORLDS (this is only the second time ever she was at the worlds) Overall, I am absolutely pleased with the scoring, however I will not deny that I think... Satoko Miyahara was underscored a point or two, or three even. really sad oh well

What a competition! Happy for Gracie and Anna, Ashley so well. Anna was the best of Russians. Anything, anything can happen in the free. Maybe I should stay up that night or wake up in the middle of night to watch that great competition. Never believed Anna could be second. I am so happy for her.

I'm okay with everyone's scores except Mao, Satoko(higher), and Gracie(lower). Aside from Gold, very competent scoring!

Amazing to see all these ladies go clean, but I'm not enjoying this as much as I should. I think I just don't find this group of ladies all that inspiring, too hung up on the past with Yuna/Carolina/Mao at her best.

Well the ladies certainly brought it today. The basket cases left their baskets outside... good for them. This is looking like a superb competition and don't hate but I'm glad Satako is where she is. What should have been rewarded was rewarded today. A little inflation but within reason just the same.

She was fighting not to cry, that's what happened, you could see it on the ice already. She was containing her happiness because when you're on the verge of breaking, you will do so even if you're happy! I am glad she held it together for the public, she obviously wanted to. I am sure they both had a long, happy cry bts.

Sorry to rain on the parade but I think all of the scores should be closer, Gracie's 3F was a ! at best and her PCS was much too high for me

so i just got rejection letters from some of my colleges BUT THEN I WENT TO CHECK THE LIVE RESULTS AND ALL SADNESS IS WIPED AWAY!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE VIDEOS AHHHHH

Personally Pogorilaya should be first in at least jump GOEs and SS and overall, but I must admit I have to look at the protocol carefully.

Well, let's just say I did not see this coming. When all the top ladies are on, the competition is FIERCE.
