Satoko got absolutely no UR calls despite her egregious pre-rotation. I don't even. The COP is so punishingly picky on jump landings, but completely ignores takeoffs. Sense it makes not.

Aside from minor disappointment from Gold and some subjective arguments I'm sure we'll be having for days about PCs, that was the most incredible ladies competition I've ever seen. Strongest field in skating at the moment as well. Great grand finale to this event.

Absolutely. I'll be doing my share of complaining but the skaters deserve nothing less than applause :luv17:

For all saying stuff about the WR: This was hands down the best Worlds ever. Maybe the best ladies competition ever. Have you ever seen SO many ladies go 2 for 2 in both programs? They had to give her WR. Every lady just kept one upping each other, there was no telling what to do. Any other competition she wouldn't of gotten it, this is just the case.

She's always really really cute! If people could concentrate less on her scores being higher than expected and more on the kind of a person she is...

Well this is a sport. It is better we are focused on her scores than the type of person she is. Personality is just icing on the cake.

Well....

1. The top two groups were just plain awesome. Everybody was amazing, except for Gracie.
2. Evgenia. Well, she deserved to win, whatever the scoring of the whole event is debatable is another thing.
3. Lena =(( maybe next year
4. Anna. Its great she medaled, and hopefully all people who doubted her and wished russia sent someone else to worlds will shut up now.
5. Ashely. She doesnt need the medal, but well, she deserved it more than the skaters that were left behind.

Gold's PCS did not deserve to be so high. I am glad Ashley kick her out of medal contention just so that Satoko was not robbed of a medal.

Agreed at least Ashley deserved to be ahead of Satoko.

Didn't really pay attention to the scores, so I don't know if there were problems there, but Ashley 100% deserved that silver. Anna might've been technically superior, but Anna didn't bring the performance tonight.

I'M SO HAPPY FOR ASHLEY. And also Raf. They both deserve the medal, and now that thread about Ashley needing a World medal to secure her legacy can die. Two clean programs!

Gracie broke my heart, and ended up deservedly off the podium. But this has been another learning experience for her, and I think she's closer to getting it.

The Russian ladies came to play today. Congrats to all of them.

But the star of the show was Ashley. She's the only woman on the scene today who presents a program with that kind of performance maturity, holding the thought from beginning to end and owning her music. Her charisma is a cut above.
