Can I ask why Javi won't do COR and COC and Yuzuru SC and NHK like this past season? And Skate Canada is in close proximity to Cricket Club next season.

I personally think it would happen exactly like this. Regardless of how desperate I'm for Yuzu competing in my homecountry, I think Javi won't give up COR since he's won. He always, always goes there.

Because boyang will be at coc. Top 3 skaters at this wc cannot compete in the same event. That changes all the assignments. It's not about what the skaters want, but what the feds wants.

Why would JSF invite Javi to NHK? They can't rely on Javi to sell tickets for them. (I actually hope he never competes in the USA again. He always gives his worst ever performances in the USA.)
They have Shoma and Mao too.

I think CoR should change the invitation game next season, Yuzu won in Russia and he is more than welcomed to win at CoR after his WR.

That's great to hear. Russians seem to like Javier. Evgeni Plushenko just posted a congratulations message to him as well.

I didn't know that, thanks for the info. Could it be then that Javier does Skate America and TEB? And Boyang does COR and COC? I am not sure Skate Canada would invite Javier, with him being the Champion and all. And Yuzuru seems comfortable competing in Canada.

Mao can't sell tickets of men's competition. Shoma is nowhere near as popular as Yuzu. It's not just ticket sale, but TV ratings too. Not keeping Yuzu at Nhk means big loss of money.
Javi can do that. Not alone of course but with the help of other big names invited. How about Boyang in plus? Yuzu needs to skip this home event at least one time before Olympics to have a little less of home crowd pressure and stress involved.

Russia does appreciate great jumpers but also those who can skate really well. Boyang is nowhere near good SS at the moment.

Skate Canada would rather invite boyang than either Yuzu or javi. It's possible javi gets sa and teb. But if javi gets sa, then boyang will get sc. If boyang gets sa (which is possible given Chinese fed's connection with USFSA), then javi will get sc and teb. Javi can't do cor and teb back to back.

None of the big names is anywhere near as popular as Yuzu is in Japan. It's a big loss of money if Yuzu is not at nhk.

I don't think nhk has that much pressure. Japanese skaters usually skate well in japan.

Why on Earth you worry about money? I don't care if they don't win the same one time in a while for Yuzu to visit more countries during GP series.
Do you know what is next for Yuzu- prove himself again before the home crowd. He can skip that NHK once in a while, no big deal.

I think gzyzf meant loss of monehy for the JSF, not for Yuzu.

TBH I can't see how Yuzu could get away from doing NHK. Nor would he want to, I think.
