Why on Earth you worry about money? I don't care if they don't win the same one time in a while for Yuzu to visit more countries during GP series.
Do you know what is next for Yuzu- prove himself again before the home crowd. He can skip that NHK once in a while, no big deal.

I meant a big loss of money for the organizer JSF. I'm thinking from JSF's perspective. If they can earn $2 million revenue (just a made up number) when yuzu competes at NHK, and only $1 million when Yuzu is not at NHK, why would JSF give up that additional $1 million revenue? If they can earn more, why earn less?

Poor Yuzuru... It all comes down to economic reasons after all.

Of course he likes but they're not going to change NHK date just to make him breathe easier

1. The organizer is not going to change the event date just for one person. There are over 50 competitors at the same event.

2. Changing the date requires negotiation with other feds. The other feds need to be willing to switch the dates with JSF. Unless there are special reasons, it would be hard to change the event dates.

ETA: The 2017 GPF will be held in Japan. It's very possible the date of NHK will change in the 2016-2017 season.

Mao can't sell tickets of men's competition. Shoma is nowhere near as popular as Yuzu. It's not just ticket sale, but TV ratings too. Not keeping Yuzu at Nhk means big loss of money.

After the latest "scandal" i'm not sure how much support Yuzuru still has. It's not fair bc he hasn't done anything wrong, but life is not fair, the damage is done :disapp:

My guess:

Javier: SA, TEB
Yuzuru: SC, NHK
Boyang: COR, COC

The feds have their calls for invitation, but the skaters can also choose. I don't think Javier wants to clash with Patrick, he'll pick SA. If Americans and Canadians both want to avoid him, I guess they will follow the skater's choice.
No matter Yuzu is willing to go or not (I suppose he's happy to do), he will be assigned to NHK. JSF will not let him go. The reality tells that he's the golden goose. It's not myself who want him to go. It's the organizers. They don't care if he has rest or not when it comes to revenue. If they do care about Yuzu's schedule, he should have been let go this year. For SC... idn, I just feel like he doesn't want to travel that much so he will stay in Canada. And he has never been afraid to battle Patrick.
Boyang... okay, bronze gets the rest.

Maybe she knows something we don't:biggrin:
seriously, i can't believe anyone would dare to abandon my prince on ice 💓

Yeah right, the Prince has lost all his fans and compromised his reputation. all because of punching a board in anger. and asa consequence of a few ramblings by his competitor.
Let's have some ridiculous drama in the off-season period. It's a very long wait.

Yeah, I'm starting to believe it's a subtle form of trolling as well.
