I think it is better to do a program with David for the next season and see if it clicks with the judges and the audience. If it wouldn't he can do a new LP for the Olympics. Looks like win win to me. And I don't think David's going to do SP. But if Yuzu switches and does LP with Jeff Buttle- I'd love to see the fruit of the switch. Let David do his short then.I love David but I just think his style of choreography isn't suited with Yuzuru. But who knows~ we might be surprise. I hope its a good kind of surprise.![]()

True!It certainly amazing to see how far he has improved.![]()
I was watching all his skating since he was 6 years old until now and gosh the feeling of watching the development of his skating is just wonderful. That I felt no longer care about his placement and just thankful to be able be a fan in time to appreciate his beautiful skating.

Finale part of the article:
I (Yuzu) recovered myself from losing the world champion soon and had a refresh looking to the future. That's because I'm confident in getting growth after a bitter result.
Comparing to prior season, I made quite much progress this season. I felt of nothing improved in the post-Sochi season. However, I indeed got much evolution in the following year. This kind of pattern gives me much of expectation in 2016-2017 season.
I will have new Short & Free programs. In my ideal of figure skating, all technical elements should be integrated into music as a whole one. So this is the very important consideration when new choreography is made.
Figure skating is continually evolving in technical phase, that means only technical strength could not assured your win. So what's your competitive strength when skaters are reaching the same (or similar) technical difficulties? In my opinion, the skater's personality (or characteristic strength) will be vital. I expect the skater's personality probably more publicity than it is now, the era of personality competition in figure skating will come of it.
as you see Yuzuru moved on way quicker than many of his fans, his season has been step forward for him. This is a good answer to some fans questions "is his mentality ok? " or "will he recover", never ever underestimate this boy)))
I really like his attitude of approaching bitter experience use it to grow even more. I hope his next season would also inspire the next and so on. 結弦なら大丈夫!:agree: He is a high level performance athlete for a reason!

Yes! Further, in the article, i'm espcially interested in his respect with Patrick. Patrick has been special to him and its presense shall remain huge inside him.

based on google translator it seems Yuzu talks about Javi's changing layout... I'm curious![]()

Boston Worlds

"Let’s start with that: close your eyes for a couple of seconds – and think about the biggest moments of this year’s edition of the Worlds. What do you see? I see (and almost hear) Yuzuru Hanyu’s roar before the step sequence in his Chopin short program, and then again, I hear him yelling once the routine has ended, relieved, exhaling pressure – "

Thank you Hamaguri for posting this, and thanks Florentina Tone for making a great analysis for the World 2016 in Boston for the 4 th category of skating !
Another memory : Worlds 2012 , RJ1, the moment I discovered the great skater Yuzuru Hanyu at 17 when he took the bronze after a shining LP. I love the commentary of British Eurosport.

It was like a perfect storm, one of the strongest emotions I experienced in my life. The power Yuzu has is enormous, he's a genius.
