it really saddens me this mess at the organization because this GPF it's probably the only chance I have to watch Yuzuru live (hoping he makes it of course), now I don't know what I should do

Come! The more we are, the more fun we have! (Ok I tried to translate a french expression to english and it's weird )

For twitwi asking the previsional schedule is
Thursday SP junior and senior(but which? we don't know)
Friday FP junior and SP senior
Saturday FP senior

Yes, well... you guys and gals can have fun without me this year. Shame, really, I was looking forward to making it three years in a row, but honestly, I just cannot make myself buy these tickets.

Now I'm kind of hoping the Helsinki ticket people are gonna blow me away with their offer for my premium seats. Which I already mention I doubt is gonna happen, but I'm ready to upgrade to premium to forget all about the GPF. :noshake:

By the way... check out the gold seats at francebillet.com if you want a good laugh. Most of the gold seats are *still available!*! By this time last year, those seats were gone in seconds.

I tried to reserve gold seat but somehow it only allows me to automatic allocation of seats!!. I don't know why but, because of that I am still struggling to figure out how to buy good seat.

It is expensive and I don't know yet if I can go for sure schedulewise. But I know I cannot go to WC nor NHK because of my work. GPF in Japan next year, I know I can only get ticket through auction site because I never had luck in lottery, then the price would be ridiculous. So maybe this would be my last chance. :sad4:

Okay, here's what you do:
http://www.francebillet.com/place-s...artistique-FINALE-DU-GRAND-PRIX-ISU-FIISU.htm

click big black butto Reservez
you should jump down to the calendar

select one day on the calendar

It should lead you to a page with a block on it titled Votre reservation.

click the lower right button "Choix des places sur plan"

you should get a pop up with the seating plan, and you can select one or more places in a block.

if you've done that, to the lower right, click one of two options how to retrieve your ticket (retrait en magasin seems a smart move, assuming you can figure out which store that actually is, because apparently it's not the venue itself?)

click Continuer

now on the new screen, click the small red line that says Réserver des places supplémentaires

click Choisir une autre date ou une autre séance

and you can repeat the proces of adding other dates and tickets to your basket

and then do one checkout.

Thank you !!:clapper: It only works on French page and not English page, that is one of the reason why it is not selling well, I think.:slink:Besides the fans in Europe can opt for WC instead.

oOOOOOo Really! Well, that explains a lot! 1. Why the tickets are not flying like hot cakes (oh, no, that's not the reason, the reason is that they are stupidly expensive!! and a whole bunch of reasons more, but I digress), and 2. that the organization or at least francebillet.com are terrible, if they cannot even get their English site to work!

I never even bothered to check the English site. :rolleye:

I'm so sad when I imagine how frustrating it must be for the foreign fans. Hope better luck for those who are looking forward to Helsinki. :console:

I just got myself a golden seat for the Gala, but it seems like the website is now also experiencing overload with the French version. I can't get it to work.
I think I'll get regular seats for the competition days. It's risky, since there's no placement, but no possible way I could spend so much on all competition days.:scratch2:

Hi fans,
If you chose not to get your tickets posted, you have to actually go to a store called FNAC to print those, you cant retrieve the tickets at the venue... There is a FNAC in the old port in the town... Also a Careffour in Timone zone, close to the area.

I've just taken my seats for the Senior FP on Friday in the 'carré d'or'. I can't wait to be there and hopefully meet some of you guys

So it's my first time buying tickets to a figure skating competition, which specific days would hold the men's events? (cause buying tickets for all 4 days seems to much money) :scratch2:

Thank you for the info:love:I am going!!
I bought tickets for all 4 days and I checked my schedule and found out I should be OK. (I have to submit permission request saying I will be doing some research there, but my colleage suggested me the appropreate theme of research so I should be OK. Fingers crossed. and I have to make sure nobody notices me when I scream with joy on camera so I have to be properly disguised:yahoo:)

If you have any suggestions for proper enough but not too expensive hotels to book, I would appreciate it. I am trying to drag along my french speaking friend, but I don't know if I can convince her to come along. Hoping I can survive with English.:drama:
