BGM——Love Runs Out(OneRepublic)
About the sexy moment of the EX program(Vertigo&Hello I love you)from year 2011-2015.
Miss him so much~!:luv17:
Hope you like it~
That's fantastic! I hope at least one of his programs this upcoming season is like that!

Thank you - I enjoy sharing them, Alia Jackson.

Is anyone else going to the film at the New York City Japan Society?

I read it because everybody was talking about it last week.
I don't have enough English ability to translate, but it was a scaring story.
Basically, Shirota-san talked about how Yuzu's left foot was swollen badly after the short program.
She said if she hadn't made him do the official practice after the short program, and if he had rested, Yuzu would have won.
She was very regretful for her decision of not stopping his practice.
many thanks for translation
is this source reliable?
I think so. The writer of the article often writes (or used to write) about Mao, too.

Quite shocking to read that. Did he use any painkillers- did they mention anything about that? Also- anything more about his spirit, Brian's thoughts? What was their complaint about the rink size? Did they mention anything about temperature during the competition that led to bad ice condition? Sorry to ask so many questions, I just want to hear some more details if possible.I read it too. It’s not an interview but more of a detailed description of what happened in Boston, Shirota’s regrets, how he’s been dealing with pain on his foot and some criticisms from the writer (and Shirota?) about the size and condition of the ice rink at Worlds.
The part about how he's been dealing with pain is quite shocking.
Since his injury, he's been saying that as long as he puts his boots on, he'll be able to deal with it.
So he'd force his foot into his boot, he'd do the laces up tightly, he'd wait for his foot to become numb, and when his foot became completely numb, he'd say, "It's numb now so I'll be okay. I can't feel anything so it doesn't hurt. I can do it."
:hopelessness:

Thank you.
This info actually made me angry as hell.

Kobyashi said Yuzu was back on the ice later than it was planned, but he has resumed training and is on the ice now .
what she said actually is something like "I don't know about spins or jumps but I heard he has started skating."
I think they don't want to reveal much details, or she doesn't know much details.
There was a news in the magazine that in mid may that he was back already, I think it is official confirmation of that.
I went through the media thread, the timeline of news as follows:
27April, post #38451
Mrs Shirota said that Yuzuru will start training around June. Preparation for new programs that were scheduled in early May will be postponed until after he starts training again.
25 May, post #39124
Mrs Kobayashi said Yuzuru is still getting medical treatment in Toronto. There is no prospect for returning to Japan.
6 June, post #39377
Magazine "Figure skating Life vol 6" stated his leg still hurts, he was not back on the ice at the middle of May and he just started his rehabilitation at that time.
22 June, post #39765
Mrs Kobayashi said Yuzu was back on the ice later than it was planned. He has started skating, but she doesn't know about jumps and spins.
There was no official announcement that he was back on ice in May. That talk came about because someone mentioned that she read in a magazine that he was back on the ice in May, but they could not recall which magazine. Thus; it could not be verified for accuracy. Refer to post #39604.
Nobu updated his blog with a photo of him and Yuzuru taken during FaOI last year.
http://ameblo.jp/oda-nobunari/entry-12173505249.html
He said he contacted Yuzuru today to ask for permission to publish the photo and had some fun conversations with him. He said that Yuzuru seemed well and told him to tell everyone that he's not depressed
It seems there was a video message of Yuzu for Nagano https://twitter.com/pazmochi/status/746317477991178240
the air of faoi nagano on bs TV is july 9!^^^ I read another tweet too video message and Yuzu is wearing ANA jacket.
....hope we can see his smile and little wave
Stephane Lambiel just posted this: "Missing this one so much on the #FaOI tour! Get well soon, Yuzuru! Photo © Tanaka" https://twitter.com/StephaneLambiel/status/745534306647347200
If I have time, I'm going to try to be "creative" and make something easy like bookmarks . And I think I need to get a Phiten socks too
Here is a fan sharing a magazine with plenty of Yuzu's photos , I'm not sure which magazine is this though.
Here is another happiness icon and add these more ② ③ ④

Reminded of last year FaOI after the show where he ran to Che'nelle with his little wave and hugged her "Thaaaank you Che'nelle.."
Thanks mcq and xibsuarz. The fans are fast, look what they have consolidated #1, #2 (the cheerleading group about to lift him up)
I'd like to share this pic collage because I really like the lower left picture wherein he looks a dashing young man. (his suits really fit him well now. Yay)

New MAD You Go Your Way. Beautiful.

Popular photos on twitter for last few hours are Yuzu in ANA white jacket (I think this is an old clip, not the one broadcasted at FaOI Nagano today)
Fan vision of another black costume....the ruffles is too overpowering
So sorry to tell you, but this was posted to identify the person as well in a different thread, saying the boy in the back right may be the skater in the video.According to the comments, the person skating behind them is Yuzuru? I can't tell, but I'll just pretend it's him

The hair style seems to be his
No idea about his name though.
EDIT: Very very sorry, mikaboo . itssemiwon of the Instagram replied to the question whether the person behind her is Yuzuru or not, "Yuzu was there."
It's so nice to know Yuzuru was there anyway
To console you, mikaboo, here it is. I'm sorry again if you have already seen this.
Evgenia was trying to talk to Yuzu, but she was interrupted by a boy
Poor Evgenia.

Anyone please explain to me what is this? Another competition right after 4CC and Yuzuru MUST do it? http://this.kiji.is/118269133154387448
I don't understand why, this set up is too tight. If he wins National again he has to go to this competition and skip 4CC again?? But this 4CC is important because it will happen in Olympic arena??
From what i know that is the asian winter games. And as far as i know they never send their top skaters there. But if Japan is the host they would probably want yuzuru to attend to fill seats. I bet both yuzuru and shoma would prefer to attend 4CC instead.
This article says that Ms. Kobayashi said the skaters' intentions will also be considered. Hopefully the top finishers at Nationals will be able to choose which competition they'd like to skate at. According to another article, they're sending 2 men and 2 ladies to Asian Winter Games.
Another tweet, "Upon hearing that Yuzu is back on the ice, all the Pooh bears cried!" (translated by Angelica @YHIFG). These Pooh bears had been praying for Yuzu recovery #1, #2.
The news was also broadcasted at major train stations @Shinjuku, @Ikebukuro
Yes, we are actually in the midst of rainy season in Japan, except Hokkaido. You can enjoy beautiful hydrangea in this season.I wonder what are these cute drawings refer to (https://twitter.com/runrun8383/status/745634410293137408, https://twitter.com/runrun8383/status/745610294508937219). Is it a season of rains in Japan or it's just a random inspiration?
When it ends, boiling hot summer comes
http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2277.html
EDIT: The person drew this frog (kaeru in Japanese) because she wanted to celebrate Yuzuru's return (also kaeru (verb)), as the rain will stop soon, with sunshine coming back. I didn't notice it was a pan
I hope you would understand what I want to say
Sendai city will construct memorial monument for Arakawa and Hanyu. Further info from YHIFG:
- Proposed location will be in front of Tozai line International Center station, which will be near the place of origin for Figure Skating, Goshikinuma (五色沼)
- This is one of the plans of Sendai City. The city government just set up a new organization "Culture & Tourism Bureau" this April. They aim to more international exchanges and aggressively promote the sports economy. According to chief officer of the bureau, International Center station is an important place to deliver and communicate the charm of Sendai to visitors. They hope to attract more people to visit the city, including figure skating fans.

Lord Yuzu movie success at Toronto Japanese Film Festival (TJFF) by @QuadAxel3Toe and @dasani2005
Wow was that a great movie! Highly recommending 'The Magnificent Nine' to everyone!
And Yuzuru was just perfect as Lord Date. He even nailed the comedic element.
Lord Yuzu movie was just named runner up for TJFF Grand Jury Prize for Best Film. おめでとう!
TJFF Introduction of Lord Yuzu movie - Yuzu part (audio). The event organizer talked a bit about the background of Yuzu's involvement in the movie
I wonder if this is Dasani from GS...waiting to watch Lord Yuzu
There will be a sake and sushi reception after the airing of The Magnificent Nine.
I've got two copies of the Toronto Japanese Film Festival's promo book if anyone is interested. Will ship anywhere. .....so fast the books have been taken though
The movie trailer with English substitle for New York screening
Basically, Nobu is saying that he should take it slow and not rush into practicing jumps and spins yet, he's so talented that he'll get his jumps back in no time, he'll catch up with everything that he's behind in because he's so good and there is nothing to be concerned aboutAnyone knows what Oda said here about yuzuru ?
It is a snippet from a news clip/show.

ETA: The writer is Naoko Utsunomiya who also writes for the Sportive magazine.
Just from memory, I read that he used painkillers but I can't remember from which article that was in.
About his spirit, Shirota thinks he was mentally a mess at one point, I think it was the time in between the SP and FS. He was understandably upset after the FS but Shirota said he didn’t cry at all.
Brian's name wasn't mentioned so I don't know.
The complaint about the rink size was that it was 4m shorter than what a figure skating competition rink should be, and about the ice condition, there were visible puddles on the surface on both sides of the rink so it made it hard for long arch jumpers to execute their jumps.
I've been reading multiple articles so I can't remember which info. came from which magazine but they are from the same writer, Naoko Utsunomiya. I read the July and August issues of SPUR and an article from a literature magazine that came out last week.
On the literature magazine, it said that Yuzuru's been spending his days off the ice by listening to endless music from classics, jazz, rock and hip hop because he'll have 2 new programs to choose music for next season.
