SC is just 30 min drive from cricket , It is very convenient. Also Javi got rejected by SA I guess it wasn't his choice.

You know, actually to me both strategies look quite the same and could be named as "home, sweet home". Javi goes to Europe and stays there for three competitions and Nationals- 4 in total. Yuzu stays in his second home for the first GP event, then he goes home and travels a bit for GPF, then home- Nationals, Christmas tree, Poohs and beers and back to Canada. Not bad, I'd say.
But shoma and Jin is there too, so I would not say it is an easy field where Brown could walk away with gold. Anyway, maybe Yuzuru himself request SC due to his health condition and less travel time? Besides, I am guessing he won't mind for another chance to go against Patrick.
Shoma maybe the only one who can win against Jason at SA. Boyang will definitely be held down in SA. Javier's preference would be honored before Yuzuru's preference. Would Javier prefer to do two GP back to back voluntarily?

But two GP back to back means no rest in between. I don't think any skaters want to do that if they have a choice to have at least 1 week in between. If travel is the only concern, then Javier would definitely prefer SC and TEB because he won't even need to travel to SC. He would only need to travel after SC and he gets one extra week of break. I really think Javier do two GP back to back because he has no choice.

I think both Shoma and Boyang can win SA if Jason is not stellar enough.
If he has a choice between back to back GP and 1 week break between two GP, I'm sure he would choose the latter because the latter gives him more rest.
Well, Javi always love CoR. And CoR to TEB is in the same continent so it is not so bad i think. He could have gone to SA though. I am also not sure why he chose TEB. Shoma will be there too, and the depth of field is a bit similar between SA and TEB had he gone there. I think if Yuzuru wants to go to SC I doubt Javi would mind since he usually prefer CoC/TEB/CoR. They are on the same team so pretty sure Brian + Yuzu + Javi talked it out between them so that everyone is happy.
He's World Champion, he has had better options anyways. I don't see it as a huge problem for him. Besides- his both events are designed for him to win, no much competition there. And he'll have 4 weeks before GPF. Awesome.

Yea, it's not like Jason Brown or Adam Rippon are any more likely to outjump Boyang than Yuzu or Javi... But the focus will be more on American boys with Boyang there.
Welll, Yuzu's going to have two totally new programs, a completely new hellishly difficult jump in the LP, and he's going to be coming off of injury... and he's going to be held down on PCS a bit... it's quite likely many elements won't pan out the first time and he'll be beaten by Patrick... Just keeping our expectations in check!

I really doubt that's Javier's own choice. Even if COR and TEB are in the same continent. There is no rest in between. As soon as he finishes COR, he will need to fly to France and practice to compete. I think he wanted SA, but was rejected. He doesn't want SC, so he can only do COR and TEB.

Before 2015 Yuzu never skated 2 clean programs, he did 4 this year. He always starts first GP slowly but pattern can be changed like he did this year, well this is Yuzuru we are talking about. We shall see.
I'm not saying COR and TEB is an unbearable option, but it's a worse option than SC and TEB. Which is a better option for Javier? SC and TEB or COR and TEB? SC and TEB is obviously a better option for him. If he has a choice, why wouldn't he choose SC and TEB over COR and TEB?

Yes, there is also Dice and Denis. As much as they want to hold down the other competitors, it is not going to be a walk in the park for US Men to get gold or medal.
But yeah it is an easier field compared to if they have Javier or Yuzuru around.
I guess so. I would think he wants SA but got rejected so he opt for the next thing that is more convenient for him

He didn't choose TEB. He could only go to TEB because coc has boyang and nhk has Yuzuru. He was not invited to coc and nhk. So he could only go to TEB.
I can't answer your questions out of Javi's head, seriously. I'm sure he's going to be just fine and there is no big drama for him to have two events back to back.

I'm answering the question through backward induction. Javier is doing COR and TEB because he was rejected by SA again and he doesn't want to do Skate Chanada. (I wonder how many times he got rejected by SA.
)The fields at COR and TEB are tougher than the two GPs he did in the last two seasons.

Umm... He's not poor. Sure he will be held down for a while but then I think he is going to be a biggest threat for Olys gold for all the all round guys out there in two years. I see the way he and his coach are comprehending the marks after the skates. They know what's going on. Not his time yet but his time is approaching fast.
