Shoma doing his SP runthrough in Shenzhen.
The same person has been posting many other videos of him and Boyang.

And another video from a different person of Shoma, Boyang and another skater I can't see. (ETA: It might be Chih I Tsao)

A full version of his SP runthrough.

Photo of Shoma's SP costume (below Boyang's photo)
It's definitely lavendar.

The SP has been uploaded on YT. Here are the links on this tweet. Thanks to the uploader.

These programs are both going to be winners! I think the music for the SP is awesome! I'm hoping he'll keep the blur spin at the end. He looks fit and seems to be in a good place with these programs, considering the time of year it is -- although I still think he has a lot of work to do before Lombardia. I had to laugh in the one video where they were oohing and ahing over his cantilever. It looks especially great with the arms.

Looks like this is at a shopping center in Shenzhen. Reminded me of when I used to skate at a shopping center rink (MANY years ago!) :palmf:...The violinist performing in the SP music (Joshua Bell) just gave a concert in Chicago a few days ago. I heard he was terrific.

Thx for this posting Mikaboo. It seems like it took awhile before we heard much about the SP, and I wasn't really sure if it was because of the Olympics, or whatever. Anyway, thank you for your diligence. :)Now I don't have to go to other threads begging for details!

Check out her legs as opposed to his. I think it would take 2-1/2 of her legs to make one of his. Maybe that's what quads do to you! :dumb:
It always struck me, no matter how skinny and dainty a skater look when he is dressed, when you notice his bare part of his body (I hope this doesn't sound lewd lol :scard7: you would be amazed how rippled and hardcore his muscles are!!!! :eekn:

BTW I am very curious about how the Japanese fans will take to his participation of Lombardia Trophy... is a large group expected to travel to Italy for that? Or would they bypass such a marginal event in a far away place? I am interested in going there but the venue has very little space for spectators (even less than a practice rink of a large venue!), and there is a possibility that they won't even issue any tickets for the event (first come first serve basis for free), it may be a problem if there is a large (or even not so large!) Japanese troop descending on Italy!!!

Shoma the cowboy!? (wearing Jin's hat) :laugh2: https://shoma-uno.tumblr.com/image/148903273967

A lucky fan https://shoma-uno.tumblr.com/image/148902032352

Full SP posted by fan. It's possible to see most of the program. Love the footwork, spins, and upper body movement. It was a little hard to see, but I think he doubled the first quad but did a good 4T followed by cantilever with arms. Great color for the deep V. https://youtube.com/watch?v=sB24wCMPMLg

Thanks. I also found this one on Youku.
I didn't think my first glimpse of Shoma's SP would be from a shopping mall in China! But at least we didn't have to wait for long since the broadcast of The ICE today showed his FS. Here's his dance collaboration with Jason.

I haven't heard about anyone in Japan stating that they're going to Lombardia Trophy to see him, Wakaba or Kanako yet (although it could be because I haven't looked for that information). I don’t think his fanbase is comparable to Yuzuru’s or Mao’s yet and have no idea how many would be willing to travel that far to see him compete when they can see him in shows in Japan.

I almost deleted my comment about his legs, but then changed my mind! Normally I probably wouldn't have even noticed, but it's so seldom that we see the men with bare legs since they usually have costumes or practice pants. And seeing him next to Tarah just emphasized it even more. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw Adam Rippon skating in shorts and without a shirt while practicing for THE ICE in Osaka. I think it was super hot in Osaka, so that's why he was doing it - but he looked so funny. And actually he didn't look quite as good as Shoma! Ha! :slink:

That's a good question about traveling to Lombardia, and maybe our Japanese friends could speak to that better than I can. I know for Worlds in Boston that about 500 tickets were sold to Japanese fans, but I think many of those would have been the Yuzu super fans (in fact I KNOW many were! :eeking:) Shoma himself said "I'm not so adored", so who knows if people would make the trip just to see him. Oh, that first come first served thing is nasty.I'd love to go to that competition!

Thanks Mikaboo from some input, the scary info I am getting is that there will be only 250 spots in that rink. I know the Challenger series usually don't attract big crowd, but I was already nervous when I went to see ONT last year in Bratislava, which was held in the same venue as this year's Europeans (I mean arena size) and I am not keen on making the travel (takes 6 hours either on train or driving) without knowing anything for sure and hoping for the best!!!

This is a much better link than the one I posted of the SP...Aw, my two favorites dancing together. Love the Sat. Night Fever music!

Good luck! I hope you will be able to see the competition. It should be a really good one! :hap10: It would be fun to read your first-hand reports.

Thanks, I will try my best, several of my italian friends are also trying to go and frantically searching for any info. We formed something of a mutual support group and if anyone finds out something the rest of us will know, so I am keeping a tight vigil!!! Shoma is very popular also in Italy, all my friends adore him!

I have seen Shoma live twice (at Skate America and Worlds), and I guarantee you would love seeing him in person. I think his speed and charisma come through in a way that you don't see on TV or You Tube. And even though he is a smaller guy, once he is out on the ice, he seems much taller! I am sure you would not be disappointed and would think it is worth your efforts...I am traveling to Italy and am arriving on Sept. 11 and wish I had known he would be there, because I could have made my plans a little differently if I had known. Too late to change now!

Americans Max Aaron, Jason Brown, and Grant Hochstein would also be fun to see. Jason is just full of personality and is so much fun to watch. He is very much like Shoma in that he is very into the artistic side of skating.

I hope you and your friends will have a good time.😊 But do not worry about the number of seats. Shoma is very far from being as popular as Yuzu and Mao, so there may be some Japanese fans coming, but not many. It's not the same situation as Skate Canada Classics 2015, lol ;)

Shoma keeps using this pattern of deep V!

BTW, i couldnt catch up the information of figure skating for Olympics. Is there any video of his lavender in THE ICE?

I think the best so far is the one in Post 1766 from when he was skating at the Shenzhen Chinese shopping center. I don't think we ever saw much from The Ice.

Some fans were saying that he might have had his white Don Juan top dyed to a lavender color. Kind of makes sense since he has so many Don Juan shirts.
And they only showed his FS on the Nagoya broadcast. There'll be a full version on Nitteleplus in September (I'm not subsribed so I can't watch :sad21:) and another program on BS Nittele in mid-September but I don't know which show that's going to be from.

Going back to his costumes though, there were reports from Gensan Summer Cup that there was a boy who was wearing Shoma's hand-me-downs for his SP (pink Don Juan) and FS (black Don Juan)

Thanks mikaboo for the info. I also don’t have CS channel. Hope BS Nittele will air the show where he did his SP. :drama:

Shoma must have a lot of Shirts! That pattern seems to become a kind of his symbol.

I always feel sleepy since Olympics’s begun. Last night I went to bed after seeing Ping-Pong and Ryohei’s parallel bar (Im a big fan of Ryohei, and his interview after individual event was heartbreak for me. He could have grown more until Rio after London. But he must have focused on team event and was not able to heighten the layout. Like figure skating, gymnastics is originally a sport of individual, not a team.. And people’s attention is collected to Kenzo now and they say the successor of Kohei is Kenzo. But Ryohei is not a guy who gives up. Go Ryohei!) :otopic:

I think somewhere in a little room, there is a seamstress for Team Yamada who is able to sew deep Vs with her eyes closed, since she has made so many! Have to admit though, I do LOVE both of the new ones. I also love the idea that someone else is able to use Shoma's hand me downs, as Mikaboo mentioned.

Usually when the Olympics end, I am glad to get my life back and am SO tired by that time! :bed: I enjoy it so much though! Hope you have enjoyed the gymnastics even though some of the outcomes weren't exactly what you were hoping for. The event I love for the men is the rings. It almost seems impossible! :otopic: :hijacked:

True!
Further, it's heartwarming shoma gave his costumes to young skaters!
(BTW, Mao and yuzu's costumes are sometimes gone to exhibition. I want to see his deep Vs meet together in a hall!)

As always, US team's earned a lot of medals! :hap10: Please take care!
Time difference between Japan and Rio is 12 hours. So i go to work during the day and see Olympics night. I'm the person who want to watch sports live. My sleeping time last night was only 3 hours...
The ring is dynamic and i cant believe their muscle! :drama: :otopic:

I love costume displays! The U.S. has some amazing costumes at the World Figure Skating Museum in Colorado Springs. Would love to see Yuzu and Mao's costumes! They might need a BIG place for the deep V display! :luv17:

Hamaguri at work -- :bed:  You are really a super fan! Don't worry, you will get your life back soon. It will be my turn to go crazy in 18 months with the Winter Olympics! 14 hour time difference between Chicago and S Korea. :drama:
