Of course he has, why else would he want a smartphone [emoji14] They are wonderful to keep in touch with people you can't physically see very much, and probably his accounts are extremely protected.

I like him not having public accounts not because i wouldn't like him as a person, i follow someone i admire very much and i can tell you that the old saying that goes "never meet your idols" isn't always true, but because oddly, i am not interested in his private life at all. I don't wanna know what he eats, what places he likes, UNLESS he posted practice videos then i would stalk that account as if my life depended on it [emoji14]
I guess the Hanyu Yuzuru i like the most is Hanyu Yuzuru the skater, he seems to be a very down to earth person and all that but somehow impossible to reach, even if he had public accounts. And i can't believe this but i am perfectly fine with that and i prefer he keeps it that way even after becoming professional
Ah I get what you mean. I think that it would be interesting to see what he gets up to in his more 'public' life, like filming his commercials or traveling to competitions (though I guess he's filmed enough by the media crew), but yea, I'm not too interested in the day-to-day stuff either. I would love to watch his practice videos all day. He clearly loves being on the ice and the process of practicing itself and the passion is very infectious. In a way, he gets lost in his own world sometimes and it's so interesting to watch the wheels turning in his head when he fails a jump or something. It's like watching a genious at work and in his element. I've rewatched so many of his practice videos haha.

For those going to Skate Canada, travel safe, have fun and take lots of videos and photos! :D

All my wish is his health. I dont mind his result. His injuries are serious. Ive read an article says he was deep in agony so much since the recover was too late and muttered “i wish i had wings on my back.”. So heartbreaking. At the same time i know he is the guy of strong will and try to execute what he is aiming for. No one can stop him. So i want him to do as he likes, since this is his life...

You know, actually maybe it was to his advantage - that he started to work later in the off-season. Because this year his focus will have to be FCC and WC and he will need to gain his maximum shape later into the season. So he shouldn't be that upset and try and see the big picture from a slightly different perspective.;)

I have prepared for a so so first half season. I expect Yuzuru not to do well in 2016. And by 4CC and WC he will do better.

I read the translation of that article too. It was heartbreaking indeed :sad4:
I hope whatever the result is he will still be happy and positive. It is only the first GP anyway and it should not be his goal to peak there.
Sometimes it is not about the placement for me, but seeing skaters dejected and heartbroken face after a bad skate really breaks my heart (whoever s/he is). Even more if it is my favorite figure skater ever. So I hope he will be content with how he will skate later this week. :)

Yuzuru also escaped her curse 2 times last season. But you can't escape forever

was it NHK and GPF? but well he didn't escape worlds. Anyway has she make the prediction? I would expect her to choose Patrick to be honest, because it is Canada after all.

Lol isn't hershey centre like 30 minutes from cricket club? He probably will just take a cab there :laugh2:

Toronto and Mississauga are side by side. Basically a sign says where one starts and the other begins. You can drive from hershey centre to downtown toronto in 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Cricket club is close to the major highway that takes you to the airport/mississauga... why go early if you can stay home until required?

Oh, I didn't know Toronto is so close! 😂

Yep, that is perhaps one of the reason why he might prefer to go to SC again than any other GP, since he doesn't need to travel.
We will probably see him only by practice day. At the same time, considering how close TCC to the venue is, I won't be surprised if Japanese media is already there and perhaps stop by at Cricket Club to get a footage video/interview etc

Perhaps to get used to the ice at the Hershey Centre?

I'll look for someone intently using their laptop:agree: Do they allow laptops and tablets? My husband needs his Kindle in case he gets saturated with skating ;)

Never checked the rule:handw:I brought my laptop last year as well so I guess that is acceptable? If not, just hide it at bottom of your bag and cover it with a scarf, you should be okay.
