‘Well, I was discussing with Brian [over there] that it is just the first competition. Also, compared to the last competition [Autumn Classic], the score for the FS got much higher, which I am happy with. ‘I was quite frustrated with myself [with the SP yesterday], and I was feeling quite disappointed with myself throughout the day. But today, the first salchow was clean and, although I was feeling a little insecure with the 4T, I managed to make landing. So in this sense, I have been gradually making progress, I think.

Haha, to be fair, I think his Notre Dame program was actually really good when he skated it as an exhibition in TEB (?). He had to grow into it I think.

Maybe you should watch italian or polish or even british esp. Most of them are kind of a hanyu fan . Especially that one guy in polish esp. He was like this once : "I'm sorry how can anyone dislike him, show them to me, let me talk to them" (too bad I don't know/forget his name).

I really really love this EX of his. I'm happy he could make it up to this point to be able to skate a program like this, one of a kind, with balletic hands, subtle and unique artistry and choreography, deep meaning, mature emotions etc. I'd like to say that now only Yuzuru can execute this kind of skating and present this program the way he did. His lyrical, flowing, androgynous presentation doesn't fail to mesmerize me every time. His costume choice is bold and so so Yuzuru, he wouldn't be Yuzu if he didn't have such a gorgeous costume at least once in his career. He totally pulls it off. It was exciting to see him with this deep V on his back, yet I smiled at how he still had all the skin covered, aikawarazu lol. I'd add some more details to his pants, maybe hips area, like in White Legend.
Could't wish for a better EX for him. I kinda feel it's always a free way for him to express his inner qualities he can't express in competition. I'm relieved he can enjoy himself like that and express his inner surfaces. Also, great job for showing off this 1A, it's totally a new artistic trademark.
David Wilson, thank you very much! I've never felt like he didn't feel Yuzu or understood him, rather the other way round. He didn't disappoint. Hopefully Yuzu's very happy with what came out of their work.
