I would so love Shoma to break out from his normal way of work and maybe get at least one comp programme next year from another choreographer. I'd like to seem him try some different movement styles. Maybe the SP at least to experiment a little?
I wondered if this year they would give credit to Stephane as co-choreographer. It seemed that although Mihoko sensei provided the framework for the choreography, Stephane was the one who did a lot of the refinement of the movements. I thought it was a joint effort - but I could be wrong. I wonder how much experimenting they're going to want to do during an Olympic year, although I think Shoma is up to any challenge. I would vote for Massimo Scali, Shae Lynne Bourne, Jeffrey Buttle - oh my gosh the list is endless! Speaking of Jeffrey, he was sitting 2 rows in front of me at Sk Canada!

It's sometimes, to introduce him to general people other than skating fans. Further, i dont know about the other countries, but it’s not unusual to see an athlete’s younger days on TV. Further, if an athlete is a promising kid, local TV finds him and keep filming as he grows up. Shoma is brought up in the region where figure skating is popular, so his hometown must have watched over him.
I mean on one side that's kinda awesome and I am admirative, on the other side, he would have even less chances to pull it off clean that now
3 quads and a 3 jump combo are hard enough already. I always thought they like to have a jump at 75% success rate before they put it into a program. I wonder if his rate is that high already with the Loop? Too much, too soon. Hope his poor hips and knees can take it. I guess I'm a fan of clean programs. Wonder what his coaches think. Good luck Shoma kun!
