2016 Trophée de France Mens FS

Beautiful and balleric performance although I prefer the old days when Misha did quirky programs.

What is his normal range for scoring, Karne?

Sorry, just saw this

around 130-140 FS and 200-210 overall. he first broke 200 at SkAm last year and since then he's only been under it twice - NHK last year and here.

Misha is definitely not a headcase. He can have problems with some elements, but he will fight for every other element. He is a fighter :)

Misha is just so amazing! It wasn't really as good as at Skate Canada but it was still a very good performance. I love the choice of music and the splendid choreography :agree:

Love this introduction for the skaters with the rockstar music and the lights

All the other competitions should adopt this sort of introduction as to not distract them while they are warming up

Not me, I avoid those two if I can. Sorry to hear that they were laughing at him though. So much for being professional, huh?

They said they had to hold the 'cough button' to mute themselves because they were laughing so hard live on-air!

My son made me actually read Pollyanna a few years ago. The book kid is nothing like the too-sweet image that has become associated with the term. Even Hayley Mills wasn't either, if one watches the whole movie.

Anyway, your wishes are shared by many, I think. :)

Was a nanny for a little girl who loved that movie and you are correct she wasn't really what the term has come to mean. I meant it in the common useage.

Aw. That is a shame. :-( I guess we will see him at 4CC?

I appreciate how far he has come but the anticipation of what crazy hair color or costume he would show up wearing did add a bit of flair to events!

I can't help but think Misha sneakly camp it up as a program of what boring middle age isu judges would like to need to 'see' and 'expect' in order to score high. It is super safe and conservative choreography and choice, even a bit bland for me, consider this is a Misha program. Knowing that, it probably will score well.

I have different opinion. As classic as it is it is actually sort of refreshing after all those horrid musicals and distracting songs with bizarre remixes and cuts on top used by other skaters. It is warhorse but Misha is awesome to watch in that, the choreo gives justice to that music and I get chills while watching the choreo sequence in the end ;)

That actually seems cruel to me. I can't imagine Kurt or Carol Lane laughing at anyone. Bemused sometimes I think.

Wait, Nathen and Patrick are both training with Marina... wow...

yeah it is a program created to win scores.. not authentic. it is like as if axel rose decide to wear a bland armani suit just so he can attend the oscars.
