2. It really sounds like he's getting quite close in english. He's still searching for the right words but I get the impression that it's not because he doesn't know the words. Reminds me of going through that stage learning english.

Well, we can't know for sure since we're at the mercy of the judges in GOE and PCS, but we can know what his max score can be.
His BV is 49.75
So if my math doesn't fail me:

4Lo 12.00 + 3.00 GOEs = 15.00
4S+3T 14.80 +3.00 GOEs = 17.80
FCSp4 3.20 + 1.5 GOEs = 4.70
3A x 9.35 + 3.00 GOEs = 12.35
CSSp4 3.00 + 1.5 GOEs = 4.5
StSq4 3.90 + 2.1 GOEs = 6.00
CCoSp4 3.50 + 1.5 GOEs = 5.00
TOTAL TES = 65.35
PCS = 50.00
TOTAL SCORE = 115.35

yeah, but spins and steps don't get +3.00 GOE. The GOE I took into account is the maximum possible in every element. The judges do give +3 but the final GOE is awarded in proportion to the element's BV. If every judge gave a +3 for, let's say the step sequence, it would all get factored to a GOE of 2.1. Quads and the 3A are the only elements in which +3s across the board from the judges do translate to +3.00 GOEs.

The highest GOEs for steps are +2.1 and spins are +1.5. It still means that the judges chose to give those elements +3GOE though. It's like how all triples 3Lz and below only get +2.1 GOE, but it still means all the judges gave it +3GOE on their card.

I laughed out loud when I saw that he can't conjugate that word in Japanese. I didn't understand anything but the facial expressions were enough.

I was really surprised how fluent he spoke in English. He still searches for the right words when he tries to express details and this is the point when he usually switches to Japanese. But I get the impression that he gets better and better all the time.
