Yuzuru don't need to be perfect to win this. He can win the GPF (and nationals) with mistakes and still win worlds with a clean skate. Just look at his 2013/14 season

The thing is Yuzuru never put quad combo in the first half. Gezzz maybe he wants to do 4 different quads instead.

There is no way he would put it on the first sal here. It would mess up the choreography too much. I think it's the timing of the 2nd 4S with the music that is throwing him off, like the 3Lz-3T for the Chopin SP. He needs to take himself out of the music, unfortunately, to get it landed.

By the way, did I see that right that the French hand out paper medals again? I'm looking forward to see Yuzu's reaction since he apparently always needs to smell Canadian medals (I still think they smell of different kinds of maple syrup), I wonder what he's going to do with this one. Probably bite into it just to see if they seriously just handed him a piece of cardboard.

With how close the score is between Patrick and him (and not to mention he is only 15 points away from Javi), I think for him to win with mistakes, means the others have to make mistakes as well. If Chan and Javier goes clean, he can't really afford a single mistake on his program. A 3-quad LP program executed by either Patrick or Javi has the potential to score 210-220 when clean. 1 mistake on the 4S3T for example, for Yuzuru, would just gave him low 200s because of the REP and deduction. Looking at his history with 4S3T on LP, I'm not betting my money on him doing it clean. So well, maybe this time he kind of have to bet on Javi and Chan making mistakes.

Looking at Kaori's close up with the medal, it looks to be like paper or something laminated in hard plastic. So basically like a plastic puck i kinda wonder if he would jump on top of the podium here if he wins, it doesnt look safe
