He is putting on a happy face for all those fans who travel over to see him skate; also maybe a tiny bit relieved that he hung on to 1st place when he probably thought Javi or Patrick will for sure took over.
I bet in his Japanese interview or press con he will be very hard on himself.

I agree. I think it is the timing. But I don't know how he will change it in just 2 weeks. However, I still think he should do 4S2T in the first half and 3A3T on the second. BV difference is only 0.13 pts. It is because even if he fell on his second 4S, he won't get the deduction of 70% BV from the REP.

I am sure both Javi and Yuzu will have a lot of talk with Orser and Tracy after this.

Its like his Chopin 1.0 where he had timing problems with the 3Lz3T. They should rework the layout and test it at 4CC.
 
My thoughts before reading any other comments:

1. WHAT WAS THAT?! OMG I'm so glad he won but was it the ice? And as people here expected, he fell on the second 4S combo again :sad4: really need to do something about that before worlds. OMG I was so ridiculously nervous, considering Javi and Patrick were skating after him, but maybe it was something about the ice, because no one skated well...except Nathan.....

1.5 That ice seriously looked like it was ravaged by a rainstorm.

2. LOL at IceNetwork playing Yuzu's reactions to Javi's jumps. They should have a camera on his face 24/7 ;)

3. LOL at Yuzu and Shoma joking about the podiums being wobbly. And the medals being light. Those are the ugliest ****ing medals I've ever seen. :noshake: I swear.

4. CONGRATULATIONS TO YUZURU FOR WINNING HIS 4TH GRAND PRIX FINAL!!!! I'm so happy for him but this makes me so much more nervous for Worlds. Is he going to get it together? :( :sad4: :sad4: :sad4: This anxiety is going to kill me...and to think Worlds is in 4 months...

Yes, I agree. I think that'll carry him through the Nats easily and it's a nothing difference. I do think it's possible for him to shift to this now and then after they can get back to the drawing board and try and find a permanent solution (or keep that one).
