Did Patrick fall three times?
Was it bad ice that did these guys in? If so, that is really appalling.

Its like his Chopin 1.0 where he had timing problems with the 3Lz3T. They should rework the layout and test it at 4CC.
Yes, I agree. I think that'll carry him through the Nats easily and it's a nothing difference. I do think it's possible for him to shift to this now and then after they can get back to the drawing board and try and find a permanent solution (or keep that one).
It is an improvement but not a significant improvement. I just said that but apparently some people get mad faster here.Idk if skating 2 super complex programs with new quad jumps is not an improvement, then what is it?

I think it is possible to tackle 2T after the first 4S. Maybe not THAT musically timed well but lol who cares for the time being.

Also some people need to calm down a bit. It was NOT a disaster.
He still land 3 quads and 2 3A. The fall on the 4S3T is predicted. It is the singled lutz that cost him at least 6 points. He doubled the 3S too. Had he nailed the lutz and the 3S his score would at least be 10 points higher.
Next time he should learn to not make little mistakes like this. He has the tendency to do this after he made a mistake, in which he makes unnecessary mistakes on triple jumps. :/

I think it is too and frankly, sod the music, it's a tiny thing and it is a temporary measure. They they have quite a bit of time until 4CC. I am not sure what the decision would be there but maybe a solo 4S at the same place would still be a problem. Now that's an actual issue if so but they have time so they can fiddle. Maybe move a 3A combo that he's more secure about there and get the solo quad after the 4T? Am not sure here.

Don't feed the troll. It does not worth it.Who else can skate to 2 super complex programmes with choreography AND a new quad?
Please enlighten me what is a "significant" improvement in your mind then. a 5A?
Remember he didn't skate all summer due to a massive injury, though. He improved a heck of a lot for someone off the ice for over 2 months.

I think people are so fast jumping on board to attack yuzuru. Skating means the whole season and there will always be some adjustments. This is what gp series is for. Whoever want yuzuru to skate perfect and consistent (like the ladies) at this stage must not be understanding fs at all. He is doing 4 quads and 2 triple axels with tons of transitions. He is not doing triples!!!
I had known yuzuru would make mistakes at gpf with the crazy amount of difficulties he did (quads and those difficult transitions). Actually i had told myself he would lost gpf this year. I mean i was so sure about it. Just a not so great skate in the middle of the season, lol we should be happy he messed here and now. It is such a great learning experience for him.
i mean, sorry for those who love gpf, but i was giving an eff about gpf. He had 3 gpf before today, it is great to have another one and it's not his fault that his main rivals messed up even more.
i only want him to do well enough at wc and olympic. That's the main goals.
We should be happy he is not peaking yet! Save that for 4cc and wc!
Yeah, he's a very emotion-driven skater. Like that guy said (I forget who...) he gets a lot more into programs and skates faster and bigger when he's doing well and then when he makes a mistake it knocks the air out of the program. He needs to fix this~~~~~~~ GO YUZU!!!![]()
I think he was tired at the end, he did the same mistake on the 3S at NHK![]()
Once again happy to chat with #YuzuruHanyu #gpf16 champ to ask him about his #lucky charm

Also can people please just ignore the troll.
No I don't think for Nats many changes should be made. Just tackle 2T to the 1st 4S and do 3A3T in the second half, he is basically doing 3A3T for all competition this year too anyway. If he fell on the second 4S then let it be for the time being. As long as he nailed his other jumps, I think at least it should be enough for Nats. Since he will not get that stupid 30% REP deduction if he fell on his second solo 4S. I hope this GPF result is a wake up call for him, and be less stubborn with that 4-3 on the second half lol. There is enough time for 4CC and worlds. It is only the 4S3T that is the problem. Everything else is already in place.
