I hope Lunna doesn't get too jealous because of that! I think she also gave Yuzuru a birthday gift (since he is holding the blue box she was holding before), she is such a sweet, lovely girl (not that we didn't know this before ).

She is a very pretty and sweet girl. I think she has everything to win. She is not my fav, I don't like her programs but I like the way she flies on the ice like a feather. I don't agree with her scores bot again that's not her fault. And the thing that I envy her the most, and I wish my fav girls would learn from her is the way she gathers after a fall as if it never happened. Well, maybe for that I would give her those extrapoints.
But for the sake of figure skating I hope in the next years she will not be given everything as is she has no competititon at all because this is just not true. The competition is what makes us watch and them fight and get better.

Not only is Evgenia a uniquely talented skater in so many ways, but she's also a terrific designer. It turns out that training outfit with the fish on the back was designed by her. The firm that produced it says she came to them with a whole bunch of sketches and supervised the process very closely. They say it's only the first fruit of their collaboration, and by the new year they'll publish everything that they've worked together for a year. Well if anybody is rooting for him to win it, we know it's Zhenya, lol.

I'm starting to come around to skating more and she was pretty solid this weekend. One thing I do like about her is that she seems like a really sweet kid. I can't sense an ounce of diva-tude in sight. I've been really enjoying looking at the pictures of her getting along with everyone, especially her main competitors. I like that she looks like she's having fun. Looking forward to her continued development :agree:

They're cute, she cracks me up something awful, in a good way and yes, she is definitely rooting for him. I would not mind seeing both of them on top of their respective podiums in Pyeongchang

I think she's on her way, she has one huge asset which is her mental stability. No doubt, a string of great results have just solidified it too. Zhenya's also a bit of a perfectionist, it was so easy to see post GPF FS and that's great. She'll push herself further to do even better but I really don't have the feeling it's the kind of self-pressure that would make her implode; on the contrary, it's a positive one. Her collaboration with Eteri, who I like, is obviously very beneficial and I think Zhenya's mentality and personality are perfect for this. Knock on wood, it's progressing well. I am hoping for even more mature choreography next season, befitting Olympics because no matter how much people do not like her FS I think it shows she can pull off moving programs.

But easy does it, this season first and Nats soon.
