Hi all newbie here.

I have been following this thread and decided to join in the appreciation for Satoko. My interest for figure skating started during Vancouver 2010, mainly for Shen/Zhao and Pang/Tong before daily life gets in the way. I was brought back to figure skating when I stumbled upon Satoko's Miss Saigon performance during WTT in 2015, and I was impressed by her fluid movements and flow. I tried to watch other top skaters in the current field, but i found Satoko's performance to be the most enjoyable (every of her movements seems to be so connected, so smooth, and also so sharp yet altogether soft and balletic). But one thing that i really admire from her is her steel mentality. If she did not do well in SP, she managed to keep herself together and came back stronger in FS. I also think she is one who has to work hard to get the recognition she deserves, and for a young lady like her, it is very courageous to face criticisms (some even borderline hateful in my personal opinion), accept her flaws, and works harder to remedy the issues. I raise my hat for her work ethics and her strong desire for improvement. When she said something, she usually delivers. Keep up the good work and keep improving, Tiny Queen, then for I hope one day you can finally silence those doubts.

Peace all and sorry for the long post(my inaugural post =) ) looking forward for more updates and news on tiny Queen, but i am not going to comment anything technical as i am just an amateur who enjoys figure skating, and especially Satoko.

I love that she is coming out of her shell more XD I also love that gif that was shared in Tumblr (where she, Zhenya and Anna had a good giggle while trying squeezing together on the podium for the photo op)

also I don't know if it's mentioned here before but did anyone listen to Ice Network podcast? In episode 3 (with guest Tessa Virtue/Scott Moir and John Coughlin), John Coughlin mentioned how he thinks Satoko is the most underrated skater ever, and that she's the best in the world XD He was completely enamored with her skating skills, the way she uses her knees etc. Worth a listen!

I did see the pic where Yuzu's hand was flat on Satton's bare back eekn, so he was tickling her too! I had my eyes on them when they were taking the pic and I was wondering, lol! TSS tss, Yuzu you're such a naughty boy! No really I love how Satton has become so less shy around him. Proud of my Queen!

Her placing at the GPF gave her a confidence boost and she wants to start preparing for Nationals after taking a short break.

Thank you for welcoming me and also for your kind responses. I am excited to see Tiny Queen soar higher and higher. Hopefully she can get to Olympics podium.

I also hope she has enough rest before National. No matter what, health comes first .

Satton definitely seems to come out of her shell more and more. When I saw her earlier interviews, she was very shy and quiet. But i think she is a fun loving person (and can be quite stubborn, after reading the interview with her parents in Tinyqueen tumblr page. Btw, i love the tumblr page and thank you for updating regularly ).
Now she is more outgoing, although she is still the shy and mainly reserved young lady in general. Perhaps it is just me, but in some instances where Yuzu saw Satton, he seems to focus his attention to her, but I am surprised he even tickled her back. Hahaa...Yuzu is quite mischievous young man. Maybe he likes to tease her? But it is good to help her come out of the shells more.

Oh I had assumed that was a definite, not just a rumor. We know he has one. And we know she'd totally get in on that. I wonder if we'll ever see Satton embrace social media. Shoma at least has a website. I'd love for our tiny queen to keep us updated.

In my limited knowledge since I don't really follow yuzu news, I always feel yuzu has the tendency to be the one who approaches Satton, whereas Evgenia is the one who initiated interaction with Yuzu? Although Maybe i was not correct for the latter assumption.

When I started following Satoko's update a bit more regularly, whenever I came across Yuzu Satton pics or gifs or vids, I always got this vibes that he likes to engage her or to get her attention. I couldn't put my fingers on it until i came across a translation about his ideal girl (or something like that, i can't remember the source though ), and one of them is someone he wants to protect. I thought, maybe the vibes that i got is the projection of his desire to protect her? (Okay, please pardon my overthinking tendency hahaha. Besides She is a strong lady ).

But again, criterion that he has mentioned in several of the interviews also seemed to match Satto: not too tall, checked; skater, checked; strong minded and tough, definitely checked; doesn't bother him all the time (maybe he mean not too clingy?), I would think this will be checked too. He also mentioned he likes Japanese girl, so checked again. Hahaha....

yes,there were such kind of rumors coming from Russian skaters who said it in half joking way. Anyways fans know that Yuzuru has private line account for years (he even checks twitter) and has chats with Oda ,Mura, Akiko and co on Line, so as both of them are anime lovers there is nothing surprising if they really chat with each other. :scratch3:

Also added that likes educated girls plus better Japanese mostly because he had big language barrier then , maybe even now .4 years ago his ideal type of girl by appearance was Maki Horkita and Ueto Aya.

He seems to have the same preferences today, like the indoor type of girl, educated, also a skater and Japanese. The conclusion is that Satoko has all the qualities he appreciates.
