Sometimes, I just don't understand why people criticise Shoma's style of skating so much :sad14:. All those talks about his crossovers, and two-foot skating.. I'm not a professional in the sport, just a passionate fan, so I don't have any arguments to stand up against that. I would really appreciate any explanations to why it's wrong/unpleasing to the eyes, but personally, after all those years watching Shoma, I've never seen a professional hate on his skating. People like Tarasova and Kurt Browning loves his skating/transition/edges, and that's the same for me. A few skaters, like Yuzu, is phenomenal. But somehow, I can't watch their performances over & over again, while I can just watch Shoma's 100+ times and it'll always bring me so much emotions (might just be me)! I know it's objective, but it's so sad to listen to people talk about Shoma on other forums sometimes. Almost everything he does is criticised
