4th place still makes the Worlds team is Tessa Hong is in top 3.

I expect Karen and Tessa to both have not-great free skates, just based on records of inconsistency. I expect Ashley to kick butt in the LP and win. Gracie can very well skate the LP like she did last year and win silver or bronze. Mariah is still in it. We have yet to see Mirai.

Overall, competitive and interesting ladies event. Lots can happen in the LP.

I guess I'll stay up for Mirai!

Considering all her troubles you would have thought saving that opening 3-3 combo would have boosted the spirits tremendously and made her fight for the rest of the program, but nope, its like it didn't make a difference to her at all

It did make a difference. She was fierce, she simply didn't have enough speed to complete the triple flip.
