Same. But she's historically more of a disaster than Gracie Gold (as are all of Tammy Gambill's skaters.)

I think sending Karen Chen to Worlds as National Champion is inviting an Alissa Czisny-esque meltdown.

I think that's overstated. If she does well in her FS, I'd be comfortable with her going. But who knows? I have a feeling much will change in the standings during the FS.

I think we're getting way ahead of ourselves. I loved Karen's skating tonight but, if she makes the team, it will be because either Gracie, Ashley, Mariah, and Mirai, have bombed. That is not something Id like to see happen. Karen is still young and this could her year but, Gracie, Ashley, and Mirai are running out of chances and I'd be sad if they don't skate well.
