If I was a competitive athlete in their situation Id be shell shocked...:noshake:
from the interviews Chaiovskaya seems to be expecying such treatment tho b/c she know all the dirty poolitiking games
Hopefully she can really make them tune out the awful judging & keep going!\

I do feel the same, and I am still remaining speechless about such unbelievable result. On the other hand, I feel really sad for them who have been under fierce attacks from both inside and outside all the way through their partnership. I can only say that the coldness of this world is really frightening. Sigh... Little by little I am losing interest & passion for this sport.

100% it is the way I feel too!! And the haters on these boards are insane! I mean, they don`t have to like them but there is no need to bash a team all the time. They are hard working people and giving their best and their whole life for this sport and then people always are so mean about them...it is vile!

So you guys really believe they were better than FB/S? The ice dance field is really, really, really deep, OG are next season and EVERYBODY is working hard. What you did in the first half of the season has no bearing on your placement at ECs. Its not the points that are important now in a competition but rather the placement. Yes, some persons myself included are not fans, but really and truly its not all paranoia, some teams have really kicked it into another gear. But all is not lost for Sinkats, they are more impressive with classical pieces, so look out world if they take on a waltz or more strictly balletic piece. P/C are great but this years SD is a stretch for them. Besides, there is still the FD to go and objectively they could pull up in the standings.

Yes, I think they were better then FB/S! It was their best SD of this season for sure! And I`m not the only one who has to wonder why the technical score were downgraded from 36,33 to 31,...?! The coaches are not idiots and you can watch, what the guys on British Eurosport were saying. I`m fully with them.
But it doesn`t matter now. All they can do is continue, don`t give up and work hard. The same as for I/Z. You have no influence on the scoring and so on...

And you are right that everybody is working hard, but no one are bashed like Sinkats! It is unfair and I don`t understand it. And there you have it, I thought the Danes were just smashing:luv17:. My only wish is for commentators to stop referring to his former partnership with Ilinykh. They just have a lot of work ahead of them, like everybody.

I`m with you on this!! I liked them as a team but their time is over for years now and they all have moved on!!! So the commentators should also move on and let it go!

Well, if the French federation would thinking like that they would never tried to change the scores of Anna and Luca. You can see clearly what federation is supporting to their athletes. And if it was the Russian federation who filled the complain they forgot totally about Victoria and Nikita. They achieved a fact that was unprecedented and at a competition not even so important (worlds/olympics) and the change being not really crucial for the results.

also a gal from FSO translated the comments from italian stream & apparently they were complimentary also & shocked by the scores as well!!
So guys we're not alone!!! & it cant be just a coincidence of our opinion as ubers!

Well if ever there was a chance to take advantage of S/B 98 FD, they certainly didn't take it :noshake:
 
I can't see the Russian Fed giving them another chance next season, unless they have an amazing season before Nationals!
 
Well that was an interesting outing for their FD. I was expecting them to crumble anyways this season, especially for the FD just due to the lack of prep and their under-training for this season. Still, i give props for them on hanging till now. People can say they're unreliable now but let's be real. I would still support them over certain teams for just how they carried through this season. Many people were hoping they crumble in EACH of their outing this season. It does suck that it all went down in their last international event. BUT eh, they are humans just like us. 😏Nail the Samba SD next season, guys! Also can we hope they work with Marina at least with their programs? Fingers crossed!

Dream on, firstly how will Marina work on their programs when she is in the US and Nikita is banned from her rink?
Secondly, Marina is distancing herself from them, that is why they had to look for an alternative coach, the Russian lady whose name escapes me, to replace Marina as Volkov is just a technical coach.
