Yuzuru Hanyu: 2016-17 Season

If it true that we may get a new two program next season, means this upcoming Worlds is the last time for Yuzu have a chance to skate clean both LGC and H&L, I personal hope this two gorg program will be skate until reach it best potential

But I'm not expecting anything, coz I'm not the one who will skate and Yuzu don't owe anything to me, I just want him to skate the best, the skate that will he proud of

And maybe I just too much but I want Yuzu to bring back Seimei into the World ex

I'd like to see Yuzu skate these programs to their potential if only to avoid him looking back with a sense of regret, but also to see how many people who say LGC is bad or H&L is a weak program change their minds

I wonder if neither LGC or H&L are skated to their potential this season would he keep them (either of them) for the oly season? I think LGC could be taken to the olympics...but I get the impression he has had a plan for olympics for some time...

I agree! It would give him more time to focus on the LP and I just...like LGC a lot, it's so much fun with great energy. There's bits he could tweak if he feels he needs to but it's a very competive program and it's very memorable. Also if I get tickets to pyeongchang I'll be going to the SP and FS, I couldn't go to the SP for 4CC and I'd love to see LGC live...

Thanks I find his use of onomatopoeia for jumps very cute (and hard to translate ). Yuzu really is something. Honestly I have no idea what a program like he described would look like, but I'm happy looking forward to it :3 Envious of all you Helsinki people who get to experience it in real life!

Yesss it's so cute?? I keep on imagining him teaching kids and with a serious face going "Then you just do shuuuu pa" and all the kids looking at him with admiration but honestly they're not sure what to do

he said he's gonna continue with competing until he's satisfied when he was asked about Olympics and the R-word.
since he's very ambitious and still growing as a skater i think he might continue bit more after the Olympics hopefully

I actually think LGC has been skated to its potential, I don't think the stepout/hung on of the 4Lo at NHK and GPF disrupt the program much (if at all). I doubt people's perception about the program will change much even though it is skated clean.

About HnL, I think he has skated the 1st part well, while the second part is not there yet, so this is the program that still leaves many on the plate.

Yes, the stsq at GPF was the best in my opinion. :thumbsup: Actually his 3A landing was better at NHK (and arguably SC and 4CC too) the 4S3T is about the same with NHK, however the overall performance is just more firecracking at GPF. A good 4Lo landing with NHK's 4S3T and 3A + GPF stsq would be the hit, I think.

Also, the bolded part, this is the guy who lamented about his level 3 stsq after he broke world record, of course he won't be satisfied.

I think both LGC and H&L skated to their full potential will see record-breaking scores.

At Worlds, I have the feeling that in the SP we'll see the most number of 100+ scores ever. Hoping and praying Yuzuru will be at his best there and again make history (no allusion meant to YOI ).

I watched Sochi men's fs saw yuzu got hit by a feels truck searched him up and watched all the stuff on youtube and was forced to quit following fs for a while cause STUDY
i still scrolled through news and stuff
finally i have time to indulge my self into fs
