Lately I was thinking about the same...the trainings must be really dangerous, because the rink is often full and everyone concentrates on their own skating. I'm constantly worried about Yuzu, that something happens to him during trainings :palmf:

I've just stumbled upon this old article about team Japan in 2013 that I didn't know, and honestly it's gold :) http://ohlovesosweet.tumblr.com/post/82940960244/talk-extras-keiji-ryuju-tears-through-cutting

Keiji: Ah, it’s Yuzuru. This is a great shot. It kinda looks like he is looking at some notes written on his palm. He’s noting, “Next up, the lutz!”

Keiji-senshu is flanked by two lovely ladies. Let’s have a conversation together with the girls nexts time!
Keiji: A Yuzu and Kanako combination would probably be the best.
——They’ve done it once. The two of them talked a lot.
Ryuju: Those two are really loud. Kanako is especially lively.

Wow, those are nice. Kinda want to play those games just for the OST now. I do wonder what Yuzuru would do with those. I think Prologue would work for him.
Funnily enough, I got into playing JRPGs from being obsessed with the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack. I kept hearing the music when my brother played the game and I just had to buy the soundtrack. (Considering the year of release of this game, you can imagine it was not easy back then to acquire a real copy of the four-CD OST from Japan, living in Europe!)

I'm heading to Paris tomorrow, Kingdom Hearts concerts are this weekend, finally!!!

Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts have incredible soundtracks.

This thread moves really fast lately! On Sunday evening I was 30 pages behind and then Monday came...with more pages to catch up :drama:

Zhenya's none too subtle about showing off her admiration of Yuzu. :)

It is understandable, given her age.

Actually, I don't think hydroblade is considered a difficult move? Even many adult level skaters or beginner skaters can do it, from what I know. I read you need good control of edges, strong legs and good upper body control but I would expect most top skaters are capable of doing it especially with hand support. There are many variations too, with or without hand, with both hands, and inside edge one is arguably easier than the outside edge one. Whether you do it well or not is a different matter. It is just like cantilever or ina bauer, everybody can do it but to what extent they can do it well.

About gracie i think it is her choreography that is weird, not that she can't hold it for long and unable to do that.

IMO it shouldn't be much more difficult then pistol squat (well, this one is difficult enough). And it's easier to enter from forward crossover. I tried it, actually  But I haven't got enough flexibility to do it well.

Jumping is so fun though  When I practice as an adult skater I need to force myself to do X rounds of edges, 3-turns, etc. because otherwise I would be jumping (singles at most but still...) all day and I wouldn't even realize

 Yes, sometimes I also have to restrain myself from jumping.
Now just imagine how Yuzu feels if he can't jump for some reason during the whole practice session!

Yeah, folks, I know I'm addicted now... but I've got around ten YT videos open on my computer, and I want to close at least one. So another translation from 2012.

Skate America 2012
SP
Sport LIVE

(the video is mirrored, so you have a chance to see Yuzu jumping clockwise)

Thank you for this! I skate this direction too, since not many top level skaters skate this direction, I initially have difficulty differentiating a toe loop and a flip. Since the toe pick is on the opposite side. This makes great learning material!

what if Yuzu cut his hair short like Workd2k14?
maybe it will suit LGC more, but for H&L I don't think so..

I am not sure, he will look older...?
Well, may be it is just my personal taste, but I always prefer longer hair.

Actually I feel that shorter hair actually makes him look younger idk. but I'm in the long hair side too :luv17:

ikr. like this : https://sportymags.files.wordpress.com/2015/01/img_8499.png

only 9 post...I doubt I can make it to hundred by worlds. if I start posting nonsense, please don't kill me.

I know right. the second one was too cute!!!

we should talk more. I am trying to get to 100 before World, I will not kill you, please don't kill me either. :D

Thank you for sharing this! :)
I was pretty calm about Worlds lately, but after seeing the schedule I am starting to have panic attack!

With longer hair you have more options for different hairstyles. In LGC he looks much older then in H&L.

Do you think Yuzu will go to practice in the main rink on Thursday morning before SP? I am afraid not :drama: But if yes, then I have to buy tickets as soon as possible.
