Nooooooooooooooo. :tantrum: (it's so pretty, choreography-wise?)
Go take the lutz!

yes yes I know flip is his worst, lutz is not bad. I know.

Yeah, but lutz brings you more points. :)
Though his flip is super-sudden, that's right. It just comes from nowhere.

Oh, we all did that - it was impossible to do equally well in everything. :)
Right. At least he passed - and he's probably going to work on it, unless he ditches the jump altogether.

Unless he will do 4F, I doubt he will ever ditch 3F

4A is more likely than 4F, don't you think?

Who knows ? If he does the 4A, then... :laugh2:

Edit : damn, Fayruza was quicker :)

Agreed about 4A before 4F.
But if he does 4A it would be --> 4A 4Lz 3F// 4Lo 4T3T 3A3T 3Alo3S 4S. Sorry guys that 3F would stick out like a sore thumb as his 3rd jump no matter the layout :p unless he wants to do a 3Alo3F

It's actually hilarious how his worst jump is, barring the Axel, the most steadfast (in terms of presence) in his FS program.

I remember some tweet where it went
Yuzu: Kids, time to go to Helsinki!
3A: Let's go!
3Lz: You're taking me? You're really taking me?
3F: *settled*
3S: As long as 3A is going! Or if 4S becomes 3S.............
3T: *Follows the quads*

OK, some things never change. Yuzuru's third jump in his FS, for instance...

I would personally LOVE if the tech panel would score transitions and skating skills (and more: basically all the more tech-based PCS components). As in give the transitions and everything a level and based on that the judges can score the skaters within a certain point interval. Example: the tech panel calls out the transitions of the overall program is between 6.5-8.5 and skating skills 7.0-9.5 and the judges based on that can score the skaters. Similar to how step sequences are scored basically. And since there would be two panels (tech and judges) it would minimize bias. Of course it is a big and difficult job, but honestly not impossible and there are ways of making it work. It would add so much needed validation for the judging.

And also as much as I love difficult jumps I want to see across the board more transitions - so I'm definitely biased ;)

I like this idea too! As it is now, judges keep a skater's PCS within a narrow range, even though a skater who gets a good performance score by connecting with the judges & the audience doesn't necessarily have superior skating skills & difficult transitions. The more the skating skill & transition scores can be quantified, the fairer the judging can be.

I would also like for the other 3 components to be consolidated into 2: choreography & performance. The match of the movements to the music is part of choreography & the skater's feel for the music is part of performance, so I don't see a need for a separate interpretation of music component, which is just scored similarly to the other 2 anyway. These components can be scored subjectively (although I'd like for points to be deducted from choreography for using warhorses).

Lutz takeoff from the outside edge. Yuzuru actually has a very good clean outside edge on his lutz (other good example would be Yuna Kim's for ladies).
His flip though :p

It seems almost all my favorite have this problem. Gracie's flip kills me. Yuzu's flip has gotten better though!

50 more pages till 3900, if we have a couple 20 page days we'll be nearly there.

Can i admit here that i have not so nice feelings towards Evgenia's hydroblade? You all know i have very strong feelings towards Yuzu's hydroblade...

Zhenya's none too subtle about showing off her admiration of Yuzu. :)

And i am okay with that because if i could i would probably do it too
But she even uses the same arm motions and ughhh no. It is so far from Yuzu... NO IT FEELS WRONG. Like cheap store brand knock off... I don't like it. Don't shoot me please.

Well, it's better to have correct lutz anyway, because points :p

Give her time. She's new to the movements. She might yet make them her own. :)
Or she might come up with her own signature moves.

I don't know... i don't think Yuzu's proto hydroblade looked like that...
In case it isn't clear (because it is the internet and i hate misunderstandings lol), is not that i don't like her doing the same moves as Yuzu.
But they don't look good aaah, sorry sorry sorry but </3
The knee slide reminds me more of Johnny Weir than Yuzu though...

60 posts within two weeks is just a little over 4 posts a day. That's a piece of cake. :)

I need something like that too... but sometimes it's not so easy to contribute to the insane conversations going on in this thread... I'm also too lazy to find things to translate :scratch2:
