No problem, mai-chan! Actually, I still get in a lot of watching. I hold the camera so that I'm looking at what they're doing but I try to make sure I'm also getting the shot lol. I'm going to try to upload the 1080P quality in parts so that it's not flagged with copyright issues. And yeah, Shoma is so cute!!

Can't wait to watch. I'm finding when I see him live I get so nervous and/or excited that I can barely remember the skate! He did ok, but I think he was frustrated that the 4Lo attempts ended up badly (as 2Lo and I think a fall). He never sets the world on fire in practices though. Wonder how he did at the afternoon practice (closed to fans because of no seating).

ETA -- Thx so much! Besides enjoying seeing Shoma again, I realized I probably only looked at Yuzu for a total of 20 seconds during the half hour...Darn! I want to petition that Fluffy has to stand with the other coaches, so I can see someone's cute face. Lucky I don't know how to say "Why is your face so cute?" in Japanese. (And no Dani, don't tell me!:laugh:)

Remember how he kept falling at SA practice and then did brilliantly in the actual competition? I bet it will be the same thing here! :)

He can only hope. That is what happened tho. Thx for reminding me! But then this was only the first day of practice. They seemed to be testing the ice a bit. Except for the pairs. They got their calendars mixed up and thought today was the real competition! :laugh: They came out smokin. I think the guys will be a little more fiery tomorrow. Looks like Jason's at 7;45 tomorrow. Shoma is around 10:30 Helsinki time..

Thx a bunch for your dedication to filming, Danibellerika! I'm amazed how gorgeous Shoma's 3A has become considering how it used to give him so much trouble in the past. Looks like he rarely misses it these days - even in practice. He has wonderful flow from take-off all through the landing! :luv17:


Was Yuzu improvising to Shoma's music there? :biggrin:


From the few glimpses of him, Keiji looked great too! He seemed to have good speed, nice edges/footwork and lots of energy with full commitment to his program. :)

Likewise I wouldn't worry too much. Going by past patterns, he'll be on fire and fight for everything in the actual competition no matter how his practices went!

And he recovered the missing combo on the first 3A on his 3S in this RT.
 
According to the news report, shoma says he has no problem with jet lag thanks to his erlier move this time!
One of our concerns was deleted!
