Thanks for the answers, even if they are contradictory.
Maybe.
The thing is, the drips from a nosebleed may not seem a lot. But just remember that the skater is covering a lot of ice during the routine. So, a wee drip here and a wee drip there. And before you know it, there are wee drips all over the place. And that can be more troublesome than a bigger patch of blood in the one place.
Personally, if I were a skater and knew that somebody on before me had been bleeding on the ice, I would feel more comfortable if a full Zomboni clean-up was done. Even if it did mean a 20 minute delay with nerves building up.
Otherwise, the whole way through the routine it would be praying on my mind "did they miss a bit that I might slip on?", and I would be concentrating more on the ice than what I was doing.
But, I'm not a skater.

I thought they clean it up for safety reasons? Although I remember all these years ago Carolina had that nose bleed at WC 2013 just before Yuna step out and did leave blood on ice. Only at the ceremony Yuna was caught on camera remarked 'oh that was you'? According to her own weird superstition history, blood on ice was good for her. She had nose bleeds before she took ice in her senior debut, her El Tango I believe, or may be someone can correct me. It was certainly a great competition for her in the end in 2013.
If there is blood on ice must be zamboni and another warm up
Lol Zamboni to clean drops of blood, it's not there would be litres of it all over the place. It would be good for comedy I suppose if Zamboni came in just for that. I can't imagine it for real.
They'd clean it with some rag quickly. Definitely more sensible.
