Recently a lot was written about Eteri Georgievna and you. What was the most surprising?
– Probably, that they do not feed me to restrain growth before the Olympics in Pyeongchang. Nothing but laughter, it does not cause. Now it’s lunch time. In the menu – borscht with meat and tea with oatmeal cookies. I eat normally. It’s impossible otherwise with my regime.

I had an experience when they found my address and tried to track me down. People probably thought they were going to make me such a surprise and I’ll be very happy. This is not quite true. At some point, I even began to think that I just have a persecution craze. But no – I was really watched after, seen off to the entrance. Fortunately, everything just stopped itself.

Too bad she was 0.03 point short for Yuna's FS TES record which is 78.30. Zhenia's TES was 78.27 points.

It was just amazing. She looked a little bit nervous at the beginning but her skating was flawless!

And she set new world record! :love: Breaking Yuna's TES record is just a matter of time. Also she is first female solo skater to win Worlds twice in a row since Michelle Kwan in 2001 :biggrin:
 
does she even know what the word "mistake" means? :D
such a true champion mentality... do you still have any questions about 2018 olympic champion? for me she had already won it, before it even began
 
Evgenia is so amazing, I wait to see how much she will grow in performing in the following years, so exciting!!! :)
 
Russian, TAT was literally crying, she was very affected by Anna and then went Lord, help Zhenya and then after was so happy and touched.
And we have BESP and the French. The French heaped up so many compliments on her that I kind of wish to let them loose on the comp thread. My fave bit was mentioning how she is an actress on ice, telling a story, they loved it of course. Korean, not a clue what they're saying, maybe someone speaks it?

She was brilliant tonight. So much pressure, especially considering what happened to Pogo. She continues to improve and it's such a pleasure to see that. Ahhh, just well done!

She is breathtakingly beautiful to watch. she was fabulous!

YES!!!! Big celebration! She did it again! And she was soooo into the music and her story! It felt like it took her several seconds to get back to reality after she finished!
 
i would give her 200 out of 10. I wasn't even watching skating at all before i saw her performing... so she is the reason i started watching it
 
Congrats to Evgenia on her second World Title!! It couldn't have been easy skating after Anna- I suspect she knew Anna did not have a good skate, and was probably bummed about that. But she skated like the champ she is :luv17:
