Yes, I know!!! After his LP I was walking around at work with the same grin and one of my colleagues asked me if I got lucky or something. And I said ...or something! Do I spy a cheeky tongue poking out?

A part of me does find this slightly worrisome because it seems to be a new ritual he has developed when he was saying at the end of the year he needed to get rid of some of those. I'm hoping he doesn't develop too great an attachment to this ritual because during the Olympics Pooh will probably not be there, if it's like Sochi.

The -1 deduction in SP was partly Pooh's fault.

Nah, it was Kikuchi and Brian's.
But I think they've learned their lesson. Look at how they made sure Pooh was on the boards during the LP.

I'm sure he will work on it and will be very careful next season. He got -1 point deduction partly because he was distracted by the fact that Brian gave Pooh to Kikuchi-san who put him down, then Yuzuru noticed it and wanted him back on the board. During this, Brian didn't talk to Yuzuru, he started to talk to him only after Pooh was put back on the board. That cost him exactly +8 seconds (I counted it lol)
