Sigh. True. But that's not enough either, we need more variations. We have karaoke by Emzie there and sorry xeyra but tanos are so passe, he's already done the Rippon after all! Tanos would just get him negative GOEs.
He can pole dance. Instant +3s on that jump

Well then he can just throw off his active costume the jump before the jump he does a pole-dance in between, that's 2 new variations added, great!

Maybe he could also learn how to lift himself. I mean, it's getting really old that this Pairs and Ice Dance ladies still need the guys for that. It's about time somebody brings something new!

I am a pigeon again, Meoima says hi to everyone!

Hello everyone, since I can't talk for long cause there's no Wifi at National Hospital. The LTE here sucks so I will just be short:
- No one in his right mind practice a difficult jump right before Olympic season without the thought of bringing it to competition. I have no doubt we will see Yuzuru upgrading his layout next season.
- Yuzuru never tells the media exactly what he will do until the day he reveals his programs and layouts in mid August as usual.
- Yuzuru isn't naive to not know that consistency and the number of quads helps with GOE and PCS. He also must know skating order has effect on his GOE and PCS too. What are his coaches who competed during 6.0 for? They all know this.
- Judging from the jumping technique Yuzuru has been showing, you guys truly believe that he is afraid of cheating technique? Apparently, you guys know I am not a fan of cheating technique. And frankly I am sure Yuzuru is NOT as well. He surely knows who has pure jumps who has not. I am still laughing at many people keep ignoring that their favorite has been cheating for so long and gets all benefits as those who don't.
I am not even sorry to say this. Yuzuru is a nerd when it comes to analyzing, he doesn't know what's wrong and what's right with some jumps? And to think that he has been taking off all his jumps very right. You think he can't see when something is very wrong? Hey, even Kurt Browning saw that and talked about that in public.
- Yuzuru knows why his programs this season get less GOE and PCS. He just doesn't want and doesn't have to talk about that outloud. You think his coach, Brian Orser, who did politics for Yuna Kim before Vancouver doesn't know that?
- Last but not least, those who get too much benefits from cheating will get karma soon.

(btw if that ^^ doesn't say how crazy and dedicated this thread is and his fans then we are in a worse boat than Yuzu and his GOEs)

Did Kurt say anything about the 1A, and its (quite pretty actually in my opinion) spread-eagle exit?

Lol. No. I forget what he said actually... they are showing Kolyada and I think Kurt was going to go gaga over his "massive!" 4lz attempt. He loved that.

I know. I know! Wait for it, wait for it. He can do the ... dun dun dun ... The Iron Lotus. By himself. He can split himself in half, do the Lotus, merge into one! Ta-da!

ETA 3800th post. Why am I so weird.

No matter what he does, he will not get +3 if the judges do not want to give it to him.

My heart hurts so much for him.

Agree...

Basically i dont want to say about judging, but still i feel some sense of anger with his scores of Worlds.
Does anyone give me an adequate explanation why he cannot get GOE? It seems the judges have the agreement that if Javi get clean jump, they must give goe3. why does he get 3GOE easily even to his single 4t, 3a? What's the difference with yuzu? It was apparant that they tried to make him win. I know Javi is only top competitor in Europe togethe with non-asian skater and judges must give him scores to keep figure skating internaional sport. but the way they did is too much. Such a way really make me hate this sport...
Anyway, yuzu's concern is always towards himself. He is always responsible for himself and never complain about the factors outside him. Even the most people senior to him cannot have the attitude like this.

Would duplicating himself for that move be another possibility?

Hey, you're 3,800 post isn't invisible!

And hey, when did you overtake me?! What did I waste my precious years on here for?

Well yes, but splitting is reminiscent of the IL and the possible ... snip. But ok, duplicating will do.
I am a busy bee.
Or in other words, I blab too much in the comp threads.

PMFJ, but can anyone tell me what the talk about Hanyu turning professional (in the future? I hope!) was? Probably a dozen or more pages earlier? This thread moves so fast I can't keep up, I just saw some posts mention this several hours ago, but I cannot find them now, and wonder what interview this was from, so if anyone could point me...?

Maybe I'm being pessimistic: it's pretty obvious why he isn't getting his deserved GOEs particularly when compared to what some of his rivals are getting. Of course he won't talk about it in public but like Meoima said (hope you recover well and quickly!) it's impossible he doesn't know. It's not something he can control where we can see. And as usual, of course he will try to improve himself regardless of discouraging circumstances. He has superior character and technique. I believe his efforts will not be in vain. :hap10:

Although.. I wouldn't put it past the space kitten to learn how to levitate 10 meters on every jump and do some polka and backflips in the air before landing, Maybe spin in 4 dimensions at once? GOE+10!:gclap:

I I understand well, for a skater, Turning professional = stopping competition and doing shows = retiring

didn't he say that a few times? All I can think of right now specifically is the "guy talk" thing with shoma and nobunari.

I really want to know how you find out that the skaters have cheated technique on their jumps? From slo-mo vid? Or is it clear when you see it live in front of you?

Agree...

The biased judges makes my head hurts.. And I just find this sport for 5 months only.. :drama: I don't know if I'll survive following this sport..
