Q. How about this season?
It was the fulfilling and fun season.
Q. Did you imagine that you would raise your level to such an extent?
I think I have grown up to the level that I couldn’t imagine at the beginning of this season.
Q. How about next season?
I want to keep aggressive also in next season. Further, I would like to get as many as competitions which I can find fun.
Q. Which is the point you think was effective for adding your scores in the new challenges?
Various failures lead to the success. Further, it turned out that at the latter season heightening the difficulty of layout worked well oppositely. When there was 4fl only (other than 4t), I couldn’t did it well although (the difficult jump was) 4f only. I don’t know why, but by taking 4 loop which was another unstable factor, other elements began to get stable. I was not sure about 4loop, but such unsureness may have canceled the other unsecure factors.
Q. Which extent do you want to develop with techniques?
I have no thought that I would stay in the current level with techniques and there are a lot of jumps which I cannot get now. My hope is keep challenging to the extent that I can avoid any injury.
Q. In which part have you got the confidence, and what’s the goal you are seeing?
About my goal, still I recognize that the top is yuzu-kun and have worked setting a target of yuzu-kun. While I think I can get closer to him rather than the last season, still I feel the gap between us. Thus I would like to get close to him step by step by doing what to do before me. Further, about the achievement of this season, the biggest one is that I learned to do mental control.
Q, which part do you find necessary to improve?
I lack every factor, so I must work hard with everything.
Q.With quads, are you challenging new jumps?
Every skater is developing at a nonstoppable speed and the level of Men’s jumps is getting higher at a tremendous speed. In that situation, I feel I can manage to keep up with them. This season I’ve learned that it is also important to polish what I can do without being conscious too much. That’s why I will keep working with what I can do. About new jumps, I want to work with them as a fun as much as possible.
Q. Do you feel some development with your expressions?
I don’t feel so much response though, it’s getting better compared with the beginning of this season. It may apply to this program only, but I feel the improvement. However, to see my programs, I find the transitions are not good, so it will be the eternal goal for me.
Q. which do you find has developed this season, technics or mentality?
About technical elements, looking back the beginning of this season, I feel these days were not in this season (note: he feels the begging of this season is the past thing far away from now.) My mind is finally becoming that of an athlete. That’s why I find my mentality has developed more this season. I come to firmly consider my skating only and get independent in mental.
