Ugh the cbc guy (kurt browning?) was clearly rooting for shoma to overtake yuzuru. It's a bit painful that most commentators seem to have turned away from yuzuru for shoma

What are you talking about? Where? When everyone was freaking out about B.Esp as well I went to l listen to the replay they say nothing of the sort. Just because they cheer for multiple skaters doesn't mean they're turning against Yuzuru or rooting for him to be beaten, seriously. Maybe they used to be more complimentary because he was so far ahead of everyone yes but lots of people are catching up with respect to tech so it's fair to spread the love. If you want to talk how everyone loves Shoma more or that Shoma should be skating the encore or that Yuzu lost fans after Boston or that Yuzu needs to lose to Shoma maybe you should do it in Shoma's thread :yawn:

I listened to CBC commentary of Yuzu's LP and Kurt was pretty much gushing over him as always, they even called him " a legend" why are you guys so sensitive I don't get , sorry

Re B ESP guys: if someone is puzzled why they seem to be less complimentary and seems like they jumped to someone else's boat this season, this is why: one of them is giving lessons in Chicago at Ouriashev's .. now you get?
This is a sport where 90 % is biased and have personal reasons behind the words they say, there are very few unbiased "experts" in this sport .. you have to deal with it. Every sport is like that. You have to learn to be insensitive .. and not care about every word...

But they aren't even. There's only so many times you can say "He's the greatest figure skater in history!" or "This is the best free skate in history!" in one season without being a bit bored/repetitive, seriously.

Huh?? I listened to his comments in the CBC video Dasani kindly uploaded on Youtube and he didn't say anything of the kind at all and I didn't get the impression you wrote AT ALL???? I dare to assert Kurt is and has always been critical about Shoma's jump technique or absence of it and gushing over Yuzuru's on the other hand. Which video are you watching?

It seems everyone suddenly forgot January 2016 when everybody was asking him about 4Lo and he was like "naah it's not ready yet.." while he was landing it in every single gala + ice shows for ages ... But Yuzu you're counting on your older age fans to have Alzheimer already, but we haven't (yet)

I am a very dedicated person and i doubt it could be a one man job!
(especially if we add appearances on international tv )
