Those two are like Frick and Frack, they should start a comedy routine! To funny!

http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Frick_and_Frack

I always call them Laurel & Hardy.

Caption for the waist-holding photo:
Shoma to Yuzu -- Keep your hands off my mighty thighs! :roll5:

ETA -- Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure I saw Frick in the Ice Follies! Not so sure about Frack though! :o:

They are hilarious together... and to think some try to create a nasty rivalry between them, lol. NOT gonna happen. I feel like yuzu is the one who jumps into things and poor face palming Shoma has to go along with it... :laugh2: i love them both.

Shoma is not always poor face. I remember in that WTT interview (the one with blue backdrop), Yuzu managed to make Shoma laugh hard several times. And I found Shoma's laugh infectious!

^^^That laugh of his is hilarious. And he looks so much more relaxed now that the pressure is off!

the detailed photos of his sp costume by costume maker. awsome.

Well I guess there was some lavender after all!

That looks awkward.....what if you're not comfortable with being so close to someone? I know it's team building but does that need to be so..physical? Poor Shoma. :)

And even more so since Japanese are a noncontact culture. Even in the US we have personal space issues and that would bother me . I got a message from one of my good friends out of the blue (she saw Shoma live at Skate America but is just a casual watcher), and she's having a ball with this training camp stuff and the Yuzu interactions. I had no idea she was keeping up with any of this but I am amused to no end! And now she's biding her time for some doujinshi with those two :laugh2: .

They did that wedding thing again at the Olympics training camp.

Oh, she was aware. Believe me. :laugh2: I didn't see the hand holding in full but you know it doesn't take fans long: https://kichessarjilian.tumblr.com/post/160101982669/figureskating-in-color-lol

In other news, I love Shoma's hands. My nails in comparison are embarrassing.

Look at Shoma's hand during a program, if you have the time. Only the hands. It's amazing what he does with his fingers even. There is movement, fitting every note.

Sometimes I rewatch Shoma's program and look for different things. Looking only at the blade, the thighs, the upper body, his facial expression....you can see how much thought was put into the program.

I just searched for Shoma's performances in Helsinki on YT and realized again that his face looks very cute and charming in still pictures. And during the slo-mo of his SP, the gush over his look by the British commentator "He is an amazing skater, he is an attractive-looking guy" is really hilarious and pleasing to listen to. :laugh2: I think this might be raised already, but I'm fascinated by it. :luv17:

Yes, they love him...and his looks - even men find him attractive, and have no problems to admit it! :agree: It's amazing how Shoma looks different in the warm up...smiling with Fluffy and skating around the rink, slightly slouched over...looking around kind of confused....and when the music starts, the switch is turned and Woah! Several commentators mentioned this also...when you see him skate around the rink during practice and warm-up it's almost like he's a different person. Similar to Daisuke in that way.

Yeah, great performers know how to sell performances not only with their body moves, but also with their eyes. Shoma looked so soft and vulnerable in the SP while he transformed into a passionate and intense tango dancer with his blazing eyes in the LP. However when Shoma was off from the ice, he became so shy and introvert boy. No wonder the British guys who have watched all talents having emerged and developed are infatuated with Shoma's programs. :agree:

not sure if it was already posted here or in 4CC threads, but here's Zijun Li 4CC banquet live Snap, around 24 mins total: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqK4ham52F0

around 3.00 min there is Shoma walking with OG mascots on runway like a pro:cool14:, another short sightning around 14.00 min

Thanks. This is what I was instantly reminded after MaiKatze depicted Shoma's character. :) Shoma looked so shy and at the same time so adorable - as much cute as the big white and black fluffy dolls. I wish there is a big photo in a clear quality though because I want to use it as my new avatar. :luv17:

LOL. I posted somewhere (maybe yuzu's thread) that they looked like they were entering a haunted house and now it has come to life, haha. Thankyou!!

I notice them. I love detail in the hands. Satoko also pays attention to her hands.

^^^Yes, yes! Please skating gods, tell me there will be more Shoma-Sota adventures! I have missed their shenanigans together so much!

Ping-pong shoma at the camp (his partner was ryuju)! He had a fun time!

Oh no! It's "Maketakunai" ping pong! Really though, he seems to be coming out of his shell so much more. I'm so happy about that!

Arriba, this Twitter is about Gracia rink. They try to collect participants with his photos? Hope it went well:)

The tickets for the Glacier Ice show will go on sale this Monday. I will be there bright and early buying mine! So happy that he agreed to participate in their show! :points: Already I am wondering what program he will skate and if he will skate more than once. Also since he supposedly needs a month to learn the group number choreography {{:luv17:}}. , maybe they should send him a video of the choreography. I would assume he will be in the group numbers. They'll probably have him come out and do his cantilever move.
