Arriba, yeah definitely I'll go there! actually after JO, Carnival on Ice'll be venued in the same place, Saitama Super Arena, so it'll be a long day😂 hopefully this arena's huge, buying the tickets wasn' competitive, I'm gonna see both! COI's a show for JO skaters! oh dear, pls think come to Japan, wanna see those together!
 
I am so happy that he looked so happy! I think he really was surprised at the wild and crazy reception he received. sheetz, thank you for all your wonderful posts and links that keep us up to date.

I've been following Japanese social media since NHK last fall and I could tell Nathan's popularity has been snowballing ever since. If/when he does the polar bear onesie video his popularity will soar even further. Eventually I think he may even attract a Japanese sponsor. At the very least he'll be invited to all the biggest shows in Japan.
 
^^^Isn't that terrific?! I know many times people think the top tier of skaters will retire and then people will lose interest. I think this shows there are always newcomers who will capture people's hearts. Of course it doesn't hurt that Nathan is adorable, well-spoken, gracious, smart, etc. etc., in addition to being a great skater. Now let's hope he has great programs next year!
 
With regard to the polar bear issue... the polar bears are VERY guarded trademark of Coca-Cola... he can't just wear a polar bear costume of any sort while being sponsored by them without there permission. And I don't think the polar bears are allowed by Coke outside Christmas. So while I would love to see it, it would have to be with Coke's permission, and would be during the holidays. That being said... Coke would be bloody foolish to not capitalize on this!
 
So, I'm not 100% sure - but I think Nathan is working with Shae on at least one of his programs. I don't want to put anybody's IG out there - but if you look at pics he is tagged in from today on IG, he's skating at the Carolina Ice Palace and Shae has done choreo there (Danny O'Shea posted a picture with her and tagged it there the other day since she did some choreo with him too) and on one of girl's instagram stories who posted a picture with him, you can see a video she posted of Nathan practicing like - maybe 4 seconds of footwork?! Haha, I must be starved for news about his programs - because it excited me. :)

Thanks for the heads up. Couldn't tell who was working with him but it looked pretty good!

I don't know about the whole polar bear thing, but it's just asking to be made into a commercial!

Just checked out the segment. Looking good! He's really throwing himself into the choreography! Though it will make him have even more fan girls... :ohwell:

Looks like Karen is there too. Did she ever say who's doing her programs for next season?

Get this. Nathan's JP Twitter fan page is sending a representative to Sun Valley to deliver him a message board filled with fan greetings at the show's meet and greet. Hashtag #ネイサン応援メッセージ I'm assuming the representative lives in the US and is not actually flying there from Japan. But still, my mind is officially blown. Hopefully we'll get fancam videos and/or photos.

I strongly suggest you ask the poster of you can post it first. If they see it floating in Twitter they'll be hurt. Any Nathan vid is bound to be spread fast.
