Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT, I love how his hair is all back and he look so sharp and focus when he is preparing for LGC :drama:

Ok, the Japanese media start building material for the starting of the season, we will be hit by TV ads, interviews and competitions, the off-season is finally finish! :hap10:
P&G purposely make him say "Kawaii" (I find it so cute) :o:

I'm just counting the days...I bet Yuzu is keeping a close eye on US intl, and Lombardia to see how his competition is doing.

Oh no so cute... Target market : young moms.

He looks so domestic--I'm curious with what he says at 0:32. Is he comparing something with skating?

Yes, he said he could iron smoothly (he said "sururi~n") just like skating (thanks to the product). :)

Me too!
But I was just looking at AC's timetable and noticed that there is no Gala. Why? I was so looking forward to see what Yuzu will have for EX this season.

I think there is always no Gala for Challenger Series? I'm not sure. Maybe I'm wrong. :scratch2:

Since judges already threw huge scores since the beginning of the season. I'll wait and see how big his score would be when he skates clean. :luv17:

I'm trying to keep my expectations in check for ACI, it's early in the season still but I think this is the first time after a World Championship where he's going into the following season at a plus rather than a 0 or negative state. It really is amazing that of 6 times as a senior at the World Championship he has only had last season where he didn't finish with an injury (2015 I think may have been more a conditioning issue). It'll be interesting to see how he makes use of that this season, especially since he himself said he wanted to move the starting line further.

I'll trust he's in good physical and mental condition right now and enjoy his skating no matter how he performs early on. Just have to tell myself this.

I agree with you. I trust Brian's words when he said in the interviews that if the Olympics were next week,he would be prepared.
He spent a lot of time this year in Toronto, he could practice well ,unlike last year( really, it amazes me when I think how he was at the beginning of the last season, spending three months off the ice, and how much he achieved after).

So now I hope next week he can enjoy his skating,he doesn't have to be perfect, only the enough not to hear KUYASHI

Shoma and Nathan have thrown down the gauntlet, each in their own way. Now I'm looking forward to next weekend. -But at the same time, not expecting very much. Yuzu usually skates to a pattern, and begins his season with some not-good performances. Hope for the best, expect the worst?

Yes, I was looking at their performance this couple of days and it was ... full of surprises, right the end beginning of the season. It's going to be a long and extremely competitive season. I just hope Yuzu adjust himself well and perform, coz his greatest competitors is always himself.

Getting so excited as the other competitions are underway this weekend, man everyone means business and had come out gunning! Can't wait for next weekend! No matter what happens we know people will be talking about it, the showdown between training mates, the re-use of programs, and the preparation for the reigning Oly champion. So excited!

Looking forward to ACI!
Knowing Yuzu's pattern, I don't expect to see him skating both programs clean.
I just hope for solid performances and wish to see him skating with joy. :luv17:

Yes, it's the same as this program :)

Looks like Yuzuru is doing commentary of his performance in GPF 2015.

Judging by his hair this was probably filmed over the summer around FaOI. I wonder if they already knew he was planning to skate to Seimei again and filmed this in advance. I'm curious what he has to say about this performance!
