she just feels the music unbelievably wellalso when watching this video i realize, that despite both of them being incredible, i just can't take my eyes off Anna, even when i'm trying to watch Sasha, my eyes somehow switching back to Annashe just feels the music unbelievably well
She has it all. Medvedeva's body and mind with better vertical leap and more of innate grace.also when watching this video i realize, that despite both of them being incredible, i just can't take my eyes off Anna, even when i'm trying to watch Sasha, my eyes somehow switching back to Annashe just feels the music unbelievably well

But I guess Zhenya didn't break her limbs twice a year at that age... :scowl:
Zhenya was very thin as well, but she had all the time in the world and coaches' patience to grow in Yulia's shadow. The competition within the group and Russian juniors was far lesser than now and it let her slowly blossom into the skater we're seeing now.She is very, very thin. That might be the problem
Just remembered Rio and Rhythmic gymnastic... There were two favorites - Yana and Rita. Yana is a pure angel. Such a grace, such a beauty, she was so light... She did incredible things on the floor. Rita - more expression, more feminine, she was a real passion.
Anyway my heart belogned to Yana. She was ahead of Rita in all segments except one... In the end of the program she did a silly mistake and... at this moment she said goodbye to Olympic gold. My heart was broken in that day. I felt what she felt. Intolerable pain.
So I'd like to raise a toast to justice. Let's wish to Evgenia and Alina the clean skate at Olympics, and what the judges will decide - it doesn't matter. More important be clean, any mistake could cost too much.

Same with Marin Honda, don't you think?Already at her age, she conveys so much with very minor movements and can accomplish a lot with seemingly very small things. I think that she's an absolutely special talent in this regard.
This isn't the Japanese ladies thread so I won't say more, but to me and a lot of other people Marin has that it factor and special floaty glide in her skating that I can't get enough of so I was instantly smitten with her.
