I liked how Evgenia does the rippon jump position here. Great, steady performance as always. But I agree that the ending has to go. You actually get into the performance and the relationship between the music and her skating until that overly dramatic, unnecessary heavy breathing at the end.

...and yeah, the dress is gorgeous.

I often told the guys at my television network the same: hey, look, if you can't zoom in the musician when they're doing their solo part in the orchestra, please zoom out. But no... they have to zoom in the wrong instruments.

I love Evgenia's dress, but the gradient to white at the end of her sleeves reminds me of a high schooler with a dark colored T-shirt on top of a white long sleeve shirt. Flashback to the 90s there.:con3: The rest is beautiful though, especially the skirt. Just wow.

Love Evgenia's dress, but the high neckline + the glitz on it are a little heavy for me. I love the low back - wish the neckline were a little lower as well.

This camera angle is literally the worst. Makes it look like there is zero ice coverage and like the jumps are only an inch off of the ground.

Lots and lot of beautiful moments in this program. Love the spread eagles.

I don't like the sleeve. Finally they got the length of her skirt right. Usually its very long.

I really like when she did a spiral in her STSQ then went to a slow motion.

its was pretty good program but it didn't wow me.

The final movement is absolutely useless and almost ruins the magic of the program.

That's my only complaint for this program. I like this program and the dress is very nice.

P.S. Does she hold her wrist with another hand when she does Rippon jumps? That looked ... weird? not pretty. Did she use to do that?

Yep, Evgenia was apparently made for Chopin. Didn't expect this from her.

Averbukh destroys it, though. How could he ever think of using Chopin as a mere soundtrack for his shallow plots?
