Very probably, we'll never find the true one.
yep
& its amusing (not) that someone may state something as truth 100% like they themselves were there in person :palmf:

You know all this is old news, so let's move on.

You know what's funny. You're the one who often brings this up, and definitely the first one to jump on any opportunity to express your opinion about the case when someone else bring it up.

Nikita is a BAD BAD BAD big wolf

Opps sorry I was referring to her FD dress

Oh. So I agree totally :D But, on the contrary to some of her former dresses, this one is not so painful to watch. IMO Ekaterina looks way better now than few years ago. Who knows, maybe it's Andrei's influence... :D

I’m coming into this conversation way too late, but what is this “Nikita is abusing Victoria” thing? What happened at what rink?

Wow, the Shibs must be really rich and well-connected with important people. Parents owning a rink and them being usfsa favorites. Is that why they’re so politically correct and stale in their interviews, they can’t really SAY anything?

Well, I've no idea who's said it and why, but allegedly Vika and Nikita were expelled from ice rink due to his abusive behavior towards her (he hit her, I guess). At least, rumor has it.

I find that they actually say quite a bit, they're just not catty about it.

Bramweld is a hardcore Elena fan, simlilarly, you like to take the Niktoria train. He's a douche.

If you look at my post history you'll see that I'm a fan of both Elena and Nikita. I just don't take sides on this, simply because I don't know what happened and I think both are to blame, not Nikita only.

Yes, that is what happens to most people - both are to blame :) and we'll never find out out which one should we blame more.
Of course, there is a possibility that Nikita is Shliakov 2.0, but since we have no way of finding that out, until Viktoria (or anyone else) would state it clearly, claiming this is attacking a straw man.

Well, I`m glad the Grand Prix season finally starts tomorrow. I had a lot of fun watching Junior Ice Dance, especially the Russian teams were lovely, so let`s see what the Seniors have in store for us.

Oh, as for juniors, I've seen Anastasia/Kiril and Elizaveta/Nikita live and both teams are lovely! The latter seemed so mature and elegant but Nastia and Kiril were simply mesmerising. Her lines are beyond my wildest dreams :)

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow, you're only a day away...

I absolutely love Anastasia/Kirill. She is very tall, but still has a great control over her lines. Tall people can sometimes look a bit awkward, especially when they are so young, but she is awesome!

What happened?
Basically violence, quarells and for example throwing her of the lifts on the daily basis. I wish that would be just a rumor but it's true.
Where?
At the Canton's Arctic Edge.
And I think Lotte got the point. Marina's packaging for SinKats was amazing, but they need to have better basic techique and I hope they will get it better under Zhulin. And I'm also happy that they made the switch, cause Marina saw them in the classical russian fairytaile packaging, and they can be so much more than that.
Shibs are quite lucky then. Having powerfull parents in this sport is a big thing. Not worrying about the ice also.

It's funny (except COMPLETELY NOT) that you can joke about abuse.

I was not talking about the abuse, why you think I did? I will never defend abuse. We don't even know if anything like that happened. But I see that some people jumped on the opportunity to judge a person they personally don't know for the thing they haven't seen with their own eyes, based their assumptions on rumours from the internet. Very kind and fair, right?

So how about the three russian teams today? Both P/M and S/B got the same BV, but still seven points between them. And B/S got the same BV as the Shibs, and a level four in the non-touching steps, so are we going to consider it a good thing or that level 4 didn't count because it was in Russia?

Not a bad competition for all three, though. Let's see what happens in the FD.

But HOW do you know that it's true? Have you been there?
Come on, guys. I've read thousands versions of this story. And I still can't figure it out - if it was true, why no one, basically NO ONE, confirmed it? No skater, no coach, no parents. Were they paid? Or threatened?
Just for clarification: I'm not stating that he didn't do it. I simply claim that we have no way of finding that out unless someone makes a proper explanation.

These sorts of cases tend to be sensitive and maybe the people who witnessed it are trying to respect Vika's wishes. Often times we don't want to out the victims of DV, especially when the victim decides to stay with the alleged perpetrator and not press charges. A lot of DV work has come from evolving ways to handle this situation to ensure safety for the victim. That said, people continually bringing it up and whisper it doesn't help the victim at all. And I agree that there have been various versions of this story.

Today's competition brought out the best in B/S, for the first time I liked their dance. But, yes, I do think the Shibs should be at least 2 points clear of them, but all in all their placement is fair. The top five is pretty cool actually. I am really looking forward to the FD. Now only C/L and Ch/Ba remain a mystery.

I'm not sure if sending Vika half across the world with allegedly abusive partner is actually ensuring safety for the victim.
That said, I want to clarify that I would never ever defend perpetrator. But, you know... ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat.

Let's move on to Rostelecom Cup :D
Shibs were gorgeous as always and TAT kept showering their technique with praise. Katia and Dima look better and better as season goes on and today was the first time I didn't actively hate their SD. I'm afraid at the end of the day I will love it.
Stepanova and Bukin... If I don't look at her knees, the samba part will actually be quite nice. Energetic. Rhumba... not so much.
